Birmingham Palladium

The palladium is a nice movie theater that shows mostly mainstream movies. Don't expect to see too many independent or art films here. For that, you'd have to go to its smaller sibling, the Birmingham 8. The seats are comfortable and the sound and screens are decent. Last I checked there's no student discount and they no longer validate parking tickets for the local parking structures.

This Movie Theatre is an upscale, movie theatre in downtown Birmingham. It has 2 floors of show rooms and food and drinks available on all 2 floors. You can do diner buffet and movie if you plan ahead of time for a reasonable price. The theatre should put in more movie ticket machines, this seems to be the quickest way of buying tickets.

Even though this is one of the older style theaters, it is well maintained and provides great atmosphere for watching art films and classical performances.
