I love dsw!!
if you are into feet, this is a great place to meet other women who are into it too.
I like all kinds of feet,,11 toes? 12 toes?
All colors and size!
missing toes ?ok!
Can't walk feet,ok with me.
Club feet, ok with me!
Simply love DSW - great way to spend an Saturday or Sunday afternoon and find great bargain on current fashion and work shoes.
Prices are always better than most other stores and great selection.
This is not a quick in and out shopping experience... Make it a fun day with friends..
Correction- I have actually gone in there and bough great shoes in approx 5-10 minutes. I go straight to the section or the sales at the back.- got some amazing designer shoes for less than $30.
Living on a budget - this is the store for you.... have fun.

DSW has to have the world's worst customer service and selection of shoes and prices are not worth your time. There are too many stores that appreciate your business that you do not need to go here.
1I bought some shoes here. The store is good in a word. The prices are not too expensive, sometimes I could find good discounts on clearance models. But this requires frequent visit. The employees are mostly friendly and willing to assist customers. But one bad thing of DSW is that their coupon often expires soon, which because a headache, can't throw away, but can't buy anything yet. which makes people kind of hate this store. but in general, [rice is ok

There is a DSW in Chicago where I never fail to find at least one marvelous pair of shoes for next to nothing. I had high hopes therefore when this one went up in Union Square... and was disappointed. In multiple visits, I've yet to find anything the least bit out of the ordinary or moving.

No matter what your plan is, you cannot expect to go into DSW for any less than an hour. I'm usually there for 2-3. There's just a ton to pick through, and when you're dealing with discounted shoes in massive quantities, there's really not much you can do to try and better organize it. Prices are fabulous, yes. It's a great place to go if you have a general idea of what you need but aren't set on some picky fabrication of your imagination (which I usually am). It's always fun to scourge through the clearance racks. You can definitely find some out-of-the-ordinary ways to dress your feet. Accessories and bags are okay, though I wait til those go on markdown before really checking them out. Less of a selection for men, but sufficient. I just emphasize the need for time when you're in this place. It's not a pop in pop out type of deal.
PROS: Discounts, huge...
CONS: Time consuming

This DSW is mobbed because of its location in Union Square, but its handbags are more chic than those at other DSWs. Also, since it is more "picked over," I think shoe turnaround is faster, meaning there is a wider array of shoes offered over time. This DSW's location is more convenient of course, since you can hop over to Filene's Basement and Forever 21 and Strawberry's or whatever.
PROS: Better handbags and location.
CONS: Picked over.
