Saints Studio

The owner of Saints studio is in the wrong business. He should be working in a cubicle somehwere where he doesn't have to be around the general public. He is the coldest, rudest most unfriendly person I have ever run into. He makes you feel completely unwelcome and he has pushed me to not wanting to walk into his salon again. Has anyone else experienced this with him???

I can't imagine a more skilled colorist ever. She is a perfectionist and my hair (and unwavering loyalty) is proof she can do anything. Her haircuts are perfect, she listens and at the end of it all - you get exactly what you wanted.

Roy gave me a long-lasting color and suggested a fabulous shape that suits my face and lifestyle. It cost around $140 for color, cut & dry and took nearly 3 hours, BUT it has lasted 7 weeks and I have had loads of compliments from friends and even a couple of passing strangers... Boyfriend liked it too! I moved to LA recently and tried 4 different places - this one is worth the price.

PROS: Easy appointments, talented staff
CONS: Not cheap

Where do I begin? I was days away from my wedding, which I had been planning for over a year when the stylist I've been going to for ever had a family emergency and had to leave town. I had been planning this day for so long, and here, at the finish line I get thrown this hurdle. I mean, it wasn't just my hair, my bridesmaids, my mom, the pictures....I couldn't handle the stress. Then one of my bridesmaids told me about Carol-Ann at Saints. Oh my G-D!! I wish that I could put photos up on this website!! Everything came out so amazing. My mom was beside herself, and I got the day of my dreams. Carol-Ann managed to do all my bridesmaids and me and my mom at the last minute and did the most faboulous job ever!! I love her for it, and writing this review for her is the least I could do in repayment. I recommend her to anyone for their special event.

I am extremely ADD and change my hair frequently. Bo has been an incredibly skilled stylist whose abilities give me exactly what I want. She truly cares about her clients and wants the best for them. She has recommended products that make my hair fuller and brilliant. I recommend her to anyone who might ask about my hair... and I get asked about my hair quite often. No joke I have three co-workers and two friends that have started going to her after seeing the amazing job she does for me. There is no grade I could give her because she is off the charts!!

Bo has been doing my hair for years. I would not trust anyone else. Her haircuts are amazing and she is an expert when it comes to color! In less than a year she has taken me from blond, to dark brown, to vivid red...No easy task! Not to mention the fact that my hair is bizarre and doesn't do well with color. So if she can do my color, she could do anyone's color. She can do pretty to edgy. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would. She's an A+ stylist and I am SO lucky to have found her!

What can I say, other than FANTASTIC! Thank god for a professional, who really knows how to cut, color and style hair. When I first moved to Los Angeles I tried many different so- called cosmetologists - who couldn't cut a horses tail! I ended up frustrated and in tears due to the incompetence of the hairdressers in this town. I'd been in the US a year before Carol Ann moved over from Scotland, where I know she trained with only the best: Trevor Sorbie, Charles Worthington, and many of the top art directors in the United Kingdom. Carol Ann truly is an artist herself!

UPDATE: i went back to SAINTS and had an amazing color and cut with JONATHAN. he is another jewel at Saints. he encouraged me to go in a different direction with my color and i LOVE the results!!

after reading reviews about CarolAnne i decided to try my luck. Not only is she a great stylist, she is really personable and does not make you feel like an idiot who does not know what's best for your hair (like other high-priced stylists do). She really listens to what you want and suggests things that she knows will work. She also gives a great scalp massage! Saints is a nice salon, conveniently located. Their receptionists are friendly and willing to be flexible. I liked the overall expoerience very much. My husband had a great haircut too!

PROS: friendly yet professional. Open late and on Sundays

I've lived in LA for 16 years and tried many high-priced salons from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica. Not until I discovered Saints and Carol Anne (through Insider Pages), have I been fully satisfied with the quality and value provided by my hair stylist. I don't have a lot to work with, but Carol Anne is somehow able to give me a stylish, comfortable cut, at a very affordable price.

I moved here from n.y. 10 months ago, and had my color done at 2 different places before I found Carol-Ann at Saints. By far she has given my the best color job I've recieved since moving here. I recommended her to my friends as well and they haven't stopped thanking me...she's the BEST!

Yes guys, if you want a good cut, you're going to have to pay for it. And if you are going to pay for it, it might as well be the best. Great place for a cool cut... just say, "I want something new and fun" and you will get it. And it's only $50! For LA, that's a good price... a good price to feel so good about the way you look, you start to think you should be an actor. Heh, that reminds me, they're all good therapists too. Plus it's in a great location by 3rd Street promenade so you can do a little shopping after. I just wish I lived a little closer to go!

PROS: Great cuts for guys, easy appointments
CONS: The price, what else?

Carolann is the best. I followed her to Saints after she left her previous salon. I wouldn't trust anyone else to give me a haircut. She makes me look cool and that's all a guy can ask. She is affordable and fast.
