This quaint little diner is a welcomed environment for the agoraphobic. No wide-open spaces and a balcony seating area overlooking the deep fryer. Coming through the front door you will more than likely be greeted by one of the Joses [there are two] and asked if you will be dining in. Offering pickup and delivery within the area, Metro puts fries, fowl, and falafel at your fingertips. I do suggest you try the falafel; so far its the best I have tasted in Queens.
A good hearty breakfast can run you $3.50 excl. tip, but get there early on the weekends. This spot has the potential to get packed with locals who cant cook and hairy chested construction workers. Dont fret they are friendly, the counter people are bilingual and very family oriented. If you tip well they will take you to their leader.
PROS: Quaint, near R train
CONS: Service can be slow while dining in
