Shevy's Wig Salon

Horrible customer service. I bought my wig 3 years ago and it lost a ton of hair so I sent it back for repairs - to ADD HAIR. Since I don't live in NY it had to go through a sheitel-macher in my area who deals with Shevy wigs. She sent it to them. Weeks later i called to find out the status - they told her they did not have my wig. Then she called back a day later and they said they found it and is sending it to the factory. They did not give me an estimate for 5 months. Finally I got an estimate (a TON OF MONEY!) but since it was already there for so long I opted to doing it b/c they said it would be amazing/excellent/like a brand new shevy wig. 2 months later I was called that my wig was back in the bklyn salon and i had to pay before I even saw it. I payed by credit card and then got the wig a week and a half later. It's THINNER than it was when I sent it. They replaced a lot of hair instead of adding hair - the hair that was there did NOT need replacing. I just wanted hair added to the wig which is what I thought i was paying for. Not only that but the front has small hairs sticking up in the air - as if the front of the wig is electrified or something. I am so unhappy.

I would never ever, recommend shevy's. When i went for a consult., prior to meeting with shevy herself, she knew of my medical condition. I had gone to a place where they sell shevy's wigs, but with my condition, i was unable to wear them, being im an active person. The store called shevy and told her of my condition, shevy said herself, oh we can do custom orders, and that i would need a special cap. So when i went to see her, she took measurements of my head for this special cap, and we also picked out colors for the wig to be made. At one point shevy left me in a room for about an hour. I felt that was rude of her. Also she did not like the colors i had picked, being most of her clients wear brown hair pieces, she seemed annoyed asbto the colors i chose which was red and some blonde. She asked me to leave half of the amt. For a deposit. She said she willbcall to see if her manufacturer has the colors and
length i wanted and she will call me in a week or so to also let me know how much. A whole month went by and nothing. I called and asked what is going on i have not heard from shevy about price and if they can get the color. Within a day or so, someone from place of business called and gave me a price for the custom order wig. In the mean time, about three weeks later, the special cap came in and i was fitted to make sure it was the right fit. They said within two weeks i should have my new custom wig. A month later, i called asking what happened, no one called me about my wig, what isnthe status of the wig. They call and shevy said she would call back, she never did, they called her again, shevy replys to them, the manufacturer can not get the colors. It took almost three months to tell me that. She said she would refund me my deposit. I said well if that is the problem, ill go with brown with some highlights. Just like one of her employees were wearing. One month later i called to check the status of the wig, the ladies called shevy to find out the status, shevy told them, we cant do custom orders, and she will refund me my deposit. How horrible is the women, who has the nerve to participate in bald girls do lunch organization. I waited months and she had no concideration to tell me this in the begining
And had the balls to take my deposit. Very poor service from her.

this summer i travelled all the way from england to buy a Shevy wig. I planned my trip so that i could be with my family in the us for the summer. i must say my wig is amazing! soft luxurious hair and so natural looking! i had my wig cut by Mimi- she was so patient and friendly and i keep getting complements!

I bought my third Shevy last week and all I have to say is that I never thought that their product could get any better than it already was, but they proved me wrong! The quality, color and cut of my wig is so perfect that no one can even notice that I am wearing a wig.

Most Shecy's are nice. I have a Shevy wig that I spent $2,000 on, when you wash that wig it looks good, but 2 days later it looks worst than synthetic.

I got a Shevy after saving up for some time to get a great wig. Well, it looked nice when i bought it and got it cut. Then as I wore it, it was knotting terribly and bunching up in the back. First they took it back, and put some treatment in it. Of course that didn't help. but I was not wearing it often enough to see what was going on since it was my dressy wig. Then i sent it back to be re sewn that took a long time. Finally I get it back as i needed it for my daughters wedding. It was nice for the affair, but it still is knotting. I am so disappointed. I spoke to SHevy personally, and she seemed like she was doing me a big favor by sending it back to russia to get it fixed. What a ripoff. It also has a cone-head shape which my hairdresser for the wedding was making fun of.

I found Shevy's to be accommodating, friendly, and professional and I was highly pleased with their product. I flew in from out of state for my wig as I needed it due to chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer. The salon made me feel comfortable and provided me with a beautiful head of long straight blonde hair that everyone, including my oncologists thought was my own. As I was only 40 when all of this happened they made a hugely positive impact on my quality of life and I am grateful to them for all their help.

I recently purchased a Shevy wig, the hair knotted severely as it was sewn upside down. They are attempting to resew the hair. I hope it will come out decent- as they charge top dollar and will not give a refund- or exchange. It has been an ordeal-one that I hope will end with everything as perfect as promised- when they sold me the "prefect" wig.

Gorgeous salon. Service is unbelievable. I walked out of there looking and feeling like a new person. I have been to many places for wigs, but am here to stay.

Shevy Wigs are chemicly treated and look very nice till you wash them, then they knot up on the neck big time due to hair being sewn in upside down.They come with enough hair on them for 2 to 3 wigs. You could try send it back to them for repair but chances are it'll sit there for 2-6 months and come back the way you sent it!

I purchased a Shevy Platinum wig about 7 months ago. Not only is the wig beautiful it is very very comfortable. I get compliments on it every time I wear it! I recently went back and purchased a fall. Even though the quality of the hair on the fall is a bit lower then the platinum wig (obviously it was at a lower price point), it is still gorgeous and comfortable. I could not be more thrilled.

I work as a hairdresser in an upscale salon. One of our regular clients informed us that she won?t be coming to get her hair done for a while since she?ll be going through chemotherapy. A couple of months into her treatment she visited our salon. All the hairdressers were taken aback when we saw her, since she walked in with a full head of hair that looked healthier and more vibrant than ever. To our amazement, she told us that she was wearing a wig. We couldn?t believe it! The way the hair fell, the magnificent flow, the perfect combination of colors and streaks made it look so unbelievably natural. She said that every time she puts on the wig, it gives her a new wave of confidence. I used to always have an image of wigs being thick, old fashioned, clumpy and gross, never envisioning that a wig could look better than one?s own hair. All I can say, Shevy wigs, you?re one heck of a company and our client is so fortunate to have found you!

5 Stars for Shevy's! On my friend's recommendation, I bought my first Shevy for my son's bar mitzvah and I love it! I was a bit aprehensive as I ordered it over the phone from LA but the girls were extremely helpful, the wig arrived promptly and it was better than I imagined. This is the most comfortable wig I've ever worn. Not to mention the hair is soft and silky and very natural looking. Now I think I'll buy one for every day.

This salon is truly in a class by itself. The staff was knowledgeable and warm, immediately helping me without an appointment. The wigs were GORGEOUS and there were several to choose from, in different lengths and textures, right there in the salon. Even the salon was stunning, with gleaming marble and warm wood everywhere.

I felt like I was their most important client and left feeling happy and confident about my luxurious new wig.

Shevy has a beautiful salon with professional staff and service. I recently bought their platinum wig and I'm happy I did! It is the most natural looking wig I've ever worn. It's extremely comfortable, the hair is gorgeous & the stylist did a great job - my friends couldn't tell I was wearing a wig. Shevy and her staff were warm and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate me. I will definitely be going back.

They do a wonderful job and a fair price (lets face it, wigs are expensive). Kind staff, presice with their work and the work is done in a timely manner. Appointments are for the times that are assigned (as opposed to any doctor's office). If you are in the market for a human hair wig, call Shevy's

they gave me a new wig in less than 3 hrs! which is amazingly quick! i usualy get it done for more moeny and takes longer at a different place. i love to come here to get my wigs for cheap. thanks alot shevy!
