Located in downtown belleville, the lincoln theater is a great place to see a movie. The ticket and concession prices are more reasonable than the big cineplexes in Fairview Heights. They only have 3 screens, but they always have something showing for everyone. Nice, friendly, family atmosphere. They even have a live organist playing before the show starts on the weekends!

PROS: Convienent location, reasonable consessions and admission, friendly staff
CONS: none

Even though I live over 30 minutes away, it is worth the trip to go to the Licoln Theater. The prices are so much more affordable! If you get one of their re-usable cups, drinks are even cheaper. I love hearing the organist play - which he usually does at big movie releases (I heard him play before Phantom of the Opera & Harry Potter).

The first time I went, I wasn't sure where to park (lots out back can fill up quickly), but once I learned where to park, I've had no complaints!

I love going to see a good movie as much as the next guy, but who can afford it these days? You can if you go to a matinee on a Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln Theatre! Their prices are much cheaper than the newer theatres located in O'Fallon and Fairview, but with this, you get an older style theatre. Its a great place to go and have fun. If you want an new movie in an old style theatre, this is your place!

The Lincoln Theater located in the heart of Belleville is a true historical wonder. Built back in the 1800's the theater retains most of the same charm it had back then. With all the original architecture still in tact, the main theater is breathtaking. On the weekends the Lincoln Theater often features either organ players before the main show or magicians or other entertainment.

Walking into the main theater is truley like walking back into a diffrent time and place. The other plus of the Lincoln Theater is they have very reasonable prices on admission and refreshments. Must lower than your normal theater complexes.

PROS: Piece of History, Low Prices
CONS: Upstair theaters need lots of work

This Theater built in the 1800s, is wonderful. Cheaper than going to one of the modern multiplexes, on Friday and Saturday nights, the main theater features an organist playing live rather than the canned music most theaters have.
