This is a very good museum for those really into planes. It has mostly WW-II and some older and newer prop planes. Both military and civilian aircraft are in the collection. The planes are laid out in a hanger and some are outside. I believe most of these planes were collected by one man.

The collection of planes are the showcase and some are pretty great. The people working there are helpful. The gift shop is well stocked with model planes and other stuff. I think we spent about 1 1/2 hours there. My 7 year old and 9 year old loved it.

Highlights included watching a man restore a P40 (engine covers off), seeing an AT-6 Texan taxi in to the hanger and sitting in a broken down Boeing 707 cockpit playing with what is left of the controls.

Admission is pretty cheap. I would recommend this for people into old planes. People less into planes (like my wife - she stayed at the hotel) might be bored or think it's just OK.

Located in Kendall, this museum has a small gift shop, a scale modelers dedicated area, where modelers can display their work for no cost. Also they have innactive real planes so you can take pictures of.
