I just purchased my first vehicle from Carmel Motorsports. To say I'm pleased with my purchase, and the overall experience, would be an understatement. Quality vehicles, professional staff, and very competitive pricing are three things that really stood out to me. The sales consultant who helped me (Gary) was very knowledgable, professional, and did a fantastic job of helping me find the perfect car. Gary was extremely patient. I sat in (and test-drove) over 10 cars. I ended up purchasing a 1998 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Hard-top convertible. The car was a rare find. It had only one previous owner, an impeccable carfax and maintenance record, and remarkably -only 19,500 original miles. I paid $17K plus tax and title fee for it. The car is gorgeous, and drives like a dream.

I had a great experience with Carmel Motosports. I purchased a 2008 Lexus LS460 with ~$26,000 miles. Disappointing to read some of the negative reviews on here but it sounds like most experiences were like mine. Vehicle was exactly as described and in beautiful condition. I would gladly do business them again. I recommend Gary very much as the sales rep.
Just purchased an 03 Mini Cooper from these guys and I have to say the whole experience was great. I sent them my credit application through Autotrader and Gary responded almost immediately. He got me bank financing and a great deal on the car. The whole process was quick and easy.

Worked a deal through Chris Henry - told him which specific used vehicle I was looking for, and he patiently looked for several weeks until he found just the right one. They were able to secure a financing rate that was even slightly better than my credit union offered. A great vehicle at a great price, and Chris has followed up multiple times to make sure I have been satisfield with the vehicle. Would gladly work with him again and would certainly recommend him to others.
I recently purchased a Dodge Grand Caravan and worked with Chris Henry. He was outstanding on finding what I wanted in my price range. He found a van with more features than I thought I could afford, and at the low miles I wanted. He was excellent at presenting me different options and listening to my needs. It could not have been easier - Chris sent me photos over the internet and we narrowed down the options. He really did his homework. The after-sale care is outstanding. I had a slight problem with the van after I purchased it and Chris came to my place of employment with a loaner car (Mercedes - nice!), and then drove the van in for service, so I wouldn't be inconvenienced. I've never purchased a vehicle before with out seeing it and driving it first,
so I was very nervous. Gary assisted me throughout the whole process, by being very responsive; he took additional pictures, he test drove the vehicle, he brought it to the BMW dealership for pre purchase inspection and even made transportation arrangements for delivery to me. I couldn't be happier w/ Gary and Carmel Motorsports...........Great Business to deal with, mainly Gary.
I just purchased a 2005 Audi A8L from this dealership. My entire purchase experience was first class from the salesman, Gary Harris, to the GM and Finance Manager, Brian Ewen. Both were very patient with me as I didn't know exactly what car I wanted when I walked in there. After a discussion with Gary regarding what I was looking for in a car, he made a couple suggestions that really fit my needs. At no time did I feel any pressure to purchase a car that I might not have been 100% satisfied in. After deciding on the Audi, I worked with Brian Ewen on the financial details of the transaction and again was offered many options to purchase the vehicle and extended warranty. My overall experience with this dealership was very successful. I would recommend this dealership anytime to any of my friends or colleagues.
Purchased an '06 Gallardo SE from Gary at Carmel recently. Gary and the staff were extreamly helpful and bent over backwards to assist with my purchase (I was out of the country for a majority of the transaction). Gary arranged shipping for me with a great shipper at a good price. Overall purchase experience was easily a 5-star but the car did have a few issues. Have had three burnt out bulbs and a radio fuse that was blown. Also, the door handles and steering column cover were previously removed and reinstalled at some point as evidenced by visible gaps in the parts and there were a couple broken screw mounting locations on one of the back bumper grills. Aside from the handles, steering column, and broken mounting points, the other issues were minor and easily fixed. Gary called and emailed many times in attempts to assist with my radio issue and even called my closest Lamborghini dealer to try and get some help for me. I ended up finding a blown fuse behing the radio. Overall, I would definately consider buying from Carmel again.
Had a chance to buy a vehicle at carmel motorsports. The service was great--no problems with the vehicles. They really went out of there way for me. A few problems with the vehicle, they fixed the problems, got me financing,but I did not purchased at this time, I will go back!!
Don??t let them fool you! We bought a car from Carmel Motorsport in March 2010 despite the fact that it came without a warranty (like every other dealership offers ?? at least a 30 day warranty). We trusted the salesman, manager and owner (and decent price)? all talked about superior service, quality products, high standards, their ??rigorous quality inspection standards,? etc, etc, etc. 4 weeks later, our new BMW died! We took it to a BMW service department only to find out the car had ongoing problems. When we contacted Carmel Motorsports, the manager pretty much told us ??oh well, we wouldn??t fix something like that during our inspection.? The salesman told us ??they don??t even really do inspections here? my last day here is Friday because I can??t take all the complaints and problems we deal with here. I??m going back to my old dealership where we had funds to take care of problems and keep customers satisfied.? DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! There were problems with the vehicle they sold us, they knew about them yet didn??t tell us when we purchased the car. Further action has been taken. DO NOT BUY FROM CARMEL MOTORSPORT! There are deals just as good from other dealerships that offer warranties with their cars and stand behind their products ?? Carmel Motorsport DOES NOT!
The Manager also told us we only had to pay a difference of taxes from our trade. We questioned him on this and he LIED. We had to pay full taxes when transferred the title. Just like the other guy says below... they will say anything to make them look good then LIE when you call them out on it.

Bought a BMW 645 Dec 2009. 2nd key could not be found when we took delivery. Made several calls but second key could not be found. After contacting Office Manager at Carmel Auto Sports, great effort was made to get key from prior owner. When this did not work, the went out of their way purchased a new key and shipped it to my home. Great Service!
Purchased a car here. We already had funds approved for the purchase so no negotiations needed after arrival. I too was informed by the sales/ business manager I had to pay the sales tax before the leaving the lot--but I took them at their word. This guy was clueless about the transaction and I have to reinvest my time (1-hr) so that he could come up to speed.
I found the person to be condescending, rude, quipped, disrespective, unhelpful and incompetent. The front (Chris-Great!) and back of the house were good to deal with. This deal would have never happen if I had to deal with the sales/business manager for more than signing a check. The guy acted as though I was beneath him. I was never thanked for the purchase....just nasty.
I??m contacting the Better Business Bureau. BE VERY CAREFUL and BEWARE!!
Preowned car lot that also has unique autos. I was impressed. I have bought from there competitors several times. I came into the dealership on a whim and wow what an impressive staff and the quality of the cars. Needless to say , I bought a car! Thanks for the service and the attention.
Bought a nice audi tt from them and they started great. but once payment was made they didn't care anymore. i was missing a 1000.00 part that was in photo's and video online but they failed to ship with car. plus only got one key and it's going to cost big to get a new set made. make sure you get what you want before payment is made. detail, details, details.
Drove from Missouri and purchased a car here. We already had funds approved for the purchase so no negotiations took place after arrival. While there, business manager informed us that we had to pay the sales tax before the truck left off of the lot--unlike in Missouri--but we took them at their word. Also told by the business manager that we would receive a tax credit in MIssouri for the taxes paid on our new vehicle purchased in Indiana. Obviously they will say anything to get a sale--because per Indiana DMV and Missouri DMV this was absolutely UNTRUE!! We came out of $1000 more by purchasing this vehicle from this dealership due to the misrepresentation about the tax credit. Contacted the business manager and he was very nasty to us--indicating that the conversation never took place. Called and left messages for the owner and he never even bothered to call us back. We also contacted the Better Business Bureau and of course the dealership stated that they never told us anything about a credit regarding the taxes and the dealership in essence said "tough luck" in their response to our complaint. BEWARE!!

I got a very fair deal on the car I purchased from this dealership, but was not very impressed with the organization or their employees. The salesman had little knowledge or insight about the car I purchased, and actually gave incorrect answers to some of the questions that I asked about the car. I expected more from a dealership specializing in luxury vehicles.
PROS: Easy, quick negotiations
CONS: Lack of attention to details
