Yaki's is the best hole in the wall you'll find for great lunch items. The burgers are out of this world and at lunch you have to act fast to beat the long lines. They pile their burgers high with fresh ingredients and the prices are decent. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Who would've known that this tiny little shoppe on the corner would pack such a powerful meal! I first ate at Yaki's in 1998. I ordered a rice bowl and chose the spiciest flavor. WOW, if you enjoy spicy food & cant decide whether to have Japanese or Mexican food to eat, then go to Yaki's. This has to be the most unique restaurant ever! I have taken so many people here and they/we cant decide if the flavor is Mexican or Japanese, but its good, for sure! They have American fare as well, like hamburgers, hot dogs & french fries. But if you get one of their fire bowls, make sure you get a large drink!!!

PROS: Unique, spicy, lots of variety
CONS: Sometimes busy, hard to decide what to get

Don't expect ambiance here-it's as ugly as can be-I guess that is the ambiance. But after you taste their teriyaki bowl-with fresh, steamed veggies & rice, yummy meat & sauce-you won't care. Get the potato salad on the side-or on top if you dare-they put carrots in it- sounds weird but it's quite good.
Priced right, park on street or in lot.

From the outside, it looks like any 1950s-era hot dog stand. But what it produces from the inside is a whole other story! From made-to-order teriyaki beef and chicken bowls, to the hamburgers, fries, and other menu options, this place sings with delicious food. While the surroundings are airy and unassuming, Yaki's truly has the best teriyaki in town. As one of the long-time employees there always says, "see you tomorrow!" Go there tomorrow, or better yet, today!

PROS: super-yummy food that's cooked from scratch!
CONS: outdoor seating only
