My husband & I were at the store recently & he decided to go out to get the car while I paid for our items. When I got to the counter a girl who saw me hand him the keys told me I had to come to her lane instead of the one that I was in line for. I went over there & she said I'll need your ID as well as the guy who just left. One, he was long gone & out of the store & two, neither of us could pass for 20ish or younger. I told her he was gone & she said I could not make the purchase without his ID. I felt like she targeted me & thought it would be fun to make a scene in fron of everyone. She was very loud & rude. I will not buy anything from them ever again.

Have been a fan of Wilbers for years and a very loyal custimer. Recently I have been getting terrible custimer service. I walked in half hour before closing and they all looked at my like they were going to chase me back out. They just stand around, talk and wouldnt make eye contact with me. Also, I ordered a half barrel keg and they brought me this funny shaped keg. I asked if it would fit in the kegorator that I purchased also at Wilbers and they assured me it would. I drove back home, in another county, to find out it didnt fit. By this time all liquor stores are closed and I have a house full of guests and no beer. I explained this to a manager the next day and he basically told me I was out my $ and will not exchange it. What used to be the nice high-end place in town is turning for the worse, and fast!

At Wilbur??s I have experienced by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a liquor store. My wife is currently serving in the Air Force and was on leave for the Fourth of July weekend. She enjoys a hard to find Vietnamese microbrew and we went to Wilbur??s to procure a six pack. Upon checking out the young cashier asked for my identification which is to be expected and I promptly presented it to her. However, what was unexpected was that she asked for the id for my wife as well. My wife was in her workout clothes and did not currently have her wallet. I did have an expired driver??s license that belonged to her on my person which I assumed would work for her. This was a Colorado issued driver??s license on which her date of birth was clearly demarcated. In addition, I am thirty-four years old and my wife is twenty-seven so there should be no common sense visual indicator that we would be under the legal age. The clerk refused to acknowledge this ID so I was just going to have my wife leave the store, but then the clerk informed me that this was not a viable solution either. We would have to exit the store and I would have to re-enter alone and they would have to restock my attempted purchase and then I could I could begin the process anew. They also informed me that children were allowed in the store when accompanied by a parent. Such inconsistencies are inherently maddening. A nine-year-old could check out with their father but my wife who has put her life on the line to serve her country cannot accompany me while I make a purchase even though she has a state issued driver??s license on her. Furthermore, this occurred on the one weekend of the year when, as a country, we pay our respects to the values and principles of which this country was founded and honor those who have made the sacrifices necessary to preserve it for over two centuries. Though the clerk would have no way of knowing that my wife is actively serving, I am painfully aware of it as months go by when I can not even lay eyes on her even once. Please take customer service serious, you never know how a little thing may impact someone??s day. That was her favorite beer and she has not been able to find one in over six months and Wilbur??s is the only place in town which carries it. Needless to say, I shall never return to your store.

This is the Applejack's of Fort Collins - biggest store - lowest prices. Watch for Thursday's ad and you'll find some real bargains. And join Wilbur's club for even more bargain prices. Great selection, knowledgeable staff. FtC has some top notch liquor stores, but this will be my regular place.

The first thing that struck me about Wilbur's is it's immense size. They have a wide selection of every type of alcohol. Their prices are competitive and if you are able to hit a sale they're excellent. During the holiday season they have many sets for sale for reasonable prices which make great gifts for someone else or yourself.

I like this store. Prices for their wines and spirits are competitive (very similar to Trader Joe's). The store is huge, so it has a good selection of wines and spirits; and it's nicely laid which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful: their suggestions for some of the lesser known and cheaper bottles of wine are excellent.
