Our school has taken many field trips to Buffalo Beals and our students always have a great experience there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The animals look well taken care of. Each year we plan a trip here so our students can learn about many various animals. Their rates are very reasonable. If you haven't been there you need to go and check them out.

We drove 31 miles to get to the place to be dissapointed to say the least, it was like a scene from "hoarders" a rusted out pen of kids dusty ride on toys greet you, we love local attractions but this place looked filthy! Our kids wouldnt get out, the prices are high, though we would gladly pay but it wasnt worth the risk getting hurt from all the "stuff" that greets you. I feel bad that we didnt see any animals aside from goats but in the long run if the entrance is an indication of the park im glad we left.

I have been a fan of Buffalo Beals for several years. The owners are very open to special needs children coming and working with the animals. Those who complain about the care of the animals should know that the family will not turn away and animal. Many of their animals are rescues. They are all born to captivity and if were left to their own devices would die. Instead of complaining, why not offer monetary help? This is a very unique place and I have taken many people to visit and they are alwasy impressed with the variety of animals.

it is really great to see animals so up close and personal, and my daughter loved the giraffe, BUT the staff was incredibly rude to our group. The animals were crammed together in small pens, and the primates were the most heartbreaking. These are social animals that should not be alone. There was rotting food in the cages. The reptile house was disgusting with black water and snake skins shed everywhere. It looked like someone hadn't ever cleaned the cages. I really feel for these animals. There was a14x14 inch cage crammed with little chicks. I've been to animal sanctuarys before and this would be at the bottom of my list. This was just incredibly sad to me.

We really enjoyed the park, all animals were very accessible and looked well taken care of. We enjoyed feeding them and enjoyed playing at the playground. Look forward to returning soon.

Very enjoyable, went to a birthday party there. The children had a great time. The animals were very accessible, and easy to feed when handled with respect. All the animals looked very healthy and well taken care of.

May be fine place for people (except kids injured) but regarding animal care you can
go to USDA site http://acissearch.aphis.usda.gov/LPASearch/faces/LPASearch.jspx
and put in Buffal beals then comment on how nice this place is.

Very enjoyable place for the family. Animals are well taken care of and the are very nice to feed. You must always remember when feeding animals to be very careful and respect them. Great place to bring a picnic and for the children to play on the playground. Reasonable price for a family. Had a great day feeding the animals.

I have to agree with M.Q. NOT RECOMMENDED!
I have many concerns about the welfare of some animals living there. While some of the wilder animals were able to run in pastures, there are many farm animals, like goats and cows, that were cramped up in a small pasture. The animals came right up to us. Pretty cool? I did not think so after seeing NO FOOD in any of the enclosures and some had no water. The orangutan lives in a small cage and was pacing and spinning in that small space. There is a very skinny big dog in a cage with no food and had many marks and scabs on his body. There were also many primates living in small spaces. It broke my heart to see a dingo that lived on a small concrete slab with a small dog house. NOT A WAY FOR A WILD ANIMAL TO LIVE.

While we were there we saw the lady who worked there kick and push a cow to get it to walk and it fell into the water bucket, pretty scary to see. Also she closed the gate on his body to push him. It looked terrible and it was in front of 4 adults and our toddlers. We need to teach our young generation how to care for animals and this was not the place to do that!

We will NEVER go back and will tell everyone we know not to support Buffalo Beal's Animal Farm.

I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! There are far too many animals on this place to be taken care of properly. I saw a goat with a bloody tumor on its nose, a potbellied pig limping on three legs. They also have a chimp in an enclosure all alone and a baboon who wildly paces its tiny cage nonstop - he has left marks on the cement walls from where he touches the walls with his hands as he runs back and forth - heartbreaking!!!! There is also a wild dog, perhaps a dingo in a cage with cement floors all by itself. There is a baby giraffe in a small enclosure all alone as well. They have also caged up a domestic dog, it looked like a malamute (msp?) it had sores all over it's underweight body and looked so depressed. It pressed itself up against the wire fence so we could pet it, starved for attention. We left in tears. This place should be shut down. Animals are social creatures and need companionship! I think they started this place with good intentions but it has gotten out of control and clearly too much for them to handle properly. The enclosures are covered in manure and some animals are covered in flies b/c there are just too many animals to certain pens. It is filthy and so sad.

It is a hands-on experience alright. Just make sure you leave with all your child's fingers! Wild animals should be respected. One little girl would like her finger back!

It's so user friendly. The animal are so close and you have the ability to feed them. The walking is not to bad, the paths could be a bit smoother but for the price one can't complain. There is a picnic shelter and play area for the kids when you are through.

This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with family. I love to take my children and teach them about animals and being able to have the hands on learning experience makes it even better. The owner's are very friendly and helpful.

This is more then I expected. We spent 3 hours walking around looking at the monkeys and rain deer and camels, wolves etc. And could have spent more time letting the kids play on the swings and in the sandbox. Next time we go we will definitely pack a lunch and eat in one of their pavilions. My three year old loved it so much that walked the whole thing with no complaints of being tired. It was a fun day with my family.

When I first heard of this park, I visioned a small petting zoo with goats, sheep, horses, etc. Boy was I suprised! Not only do they have these animals, but they also have birds, peacocks, camels, kangaroos, a giraffe, a zebra, turtles, monkeys, porcupines, deer, a dingo, a reindeer, elk, ducks, and much more. There is also a playground with a covered eating area and a grill. This is a great place to spend time with your kids or to just get away. The prices are reasonable and the animals are wonderful. My son and I go all the time.

PROS: seeing exotic animals
CONS: not many people know about it
