4 Stars: Cutest little theatre in town! (by Samantha G.)

This theatre is just so darn cute! It was here back in the early 1900's and it just has such a vintage style to it. On the wall are some cool old pictures of the original owners and the theatre itself back in the 1940's. Great fun!

4 Stars: Good local movie theatre at cheap prices (by Nick G.)

This is a cute little theatre that plays movies at cheap prices a little while after they have come out at the other theatres. It is a small theatre that has a lot of charm. The only real drawback is that it doesn't have the stadium seating that a lot of the newer theatres have, but what do you expect when you are paying for a discount ticket? This is a fun place to go for a night out when you don't want to have to spend a lot of money and you missed the movie when it was at the larger theatres.

3 Stars: Old-Fashioned Movie Theater (by Leanne P.)

The Fair Oaks Theatre in Arroyo Grande is an old-style movie house. The seats are not as cushy as the seats in the more modern theater across town, and the theater only has one screen. But they do play current release movies and have much more reasonable snack prices. They also have big, soft, salted pretzels, served with a side of mustard, which are absolutely delicious. Each Christmas, they offer a free showing of a classic holiday film.

PROS: Old-fashioned value and great pretzels
CONS: Smaller, only one screen
