Hmmm. I read Patty H.'s review and couldn't disagree with her more... I was completely satisfied with my representation and found the Connelly Law Office fees to be considerably lower than the other attorneys that I contacted for my divorce. My guess is that it was not a standard divorce and may have had some complicated issues... You know what they say about the truth...there is one version, the other version and the truth falls somewhere in between... I can only speak from my experience and I thought this office was friendly, attentive and got the job done.

Our daughter went to him on a recommendation from a friend for a divorce. It was supposed to be a ninety day no fault. She filed in July of 2002 and didn't hear another word from them. Every time she called they told her they were working on locating her ex-husband. Never asked for any type of information but what had been supplied the day she filed.

The day she filed he was told that we figured he was going to bolt and that the address and phone number we were supplying were his parents place. We also told them that they had a habit of shredding mail unopened. At that time I was willing to pay to have a sheriff serve the divorce papers so that I knew they were received. I was told that was not nessecary. It would be money wasted. And we were told that the divorce would be final by October of that year.

Well, November of 2003 she received a phone call from the office saying that they were getting ready to drop the case and if she wanted her divorce she had to refile and pay for it again. Well, I got on the phone and they were told that we weren't paying another penny for the divorce. That it was paid in full at the time I retained him and it wasn't my fault he didn't listen to me and do what I wanted. They were also told if he tried to drop the case that I would be calling the lawyer Association of Erie and filing a law suit against him and would see to it that he was disbarred. Well, lo and behold in February of 2004 her divorce was finalized without any more problems.

So do yourself a favor and find someone else to go to for legal advice.

PROS: None
CONS: Overpriced, uncaring,
