Grill of India

Best restaurant in town. Food is excellent as is the service. I cannot think of another Indian restaurant in the state that is better. Pricing is also very reasonable. I eat here often with both friends and family and recommend them highly. The staff is very friendly. They really make you feel like family.

The food at this restaurant is awesome. I have yet to find an Indian restaurant that could beat it. The service is very friendly and I have often had items given at no charge. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and our neighbors finally persuaded me to try this cuisine. I fell in love with it instantly!! The service alone is worth coming back. Very friendly staff, every time we take our children they receive a free mango lassi(mango dessert type drink). We always order extra for leftovers and never ever leave dissatisfied! I have already recommended this place to everyone I know and would tell anyone that is interested in trying it to go here, you will not be disappointed! And whoever said it was expensive is crazy, my family of 4 go and we get at least one extra meal to take home and our bill is never over $60. I'd say that is pretty darn good!

This has got to be one of the worse restaurant I've been in. The service was horribly slow. The food was okay to some extent, but overshadowed by bad service. I've never waited so long for two entrees: almost an hour.

I didnt know what to expect at this place, but when i went there it was a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent. Service was good. I enjoyed every bite i ate. I would definitely recoomend this place for anyone, The spices are mildly blended and very tasty.

Since moving to the flint area from lansing, Im finding there arent as many good ethnic restaurants. Grill of India is definitely the exception. Their food is always wonderful and the service is great. I would definitely recommend them!
My favorite vegetarian meal is the navrattan korma (mixed veggies in a spicy sauce) and the chicken tikka masala is great if you want some meat (chicken in a spicy tomato sauce).
You wont be disappointed!
PS. Make sure you try their naan as well..amazing!

Grill of India, located in Lin-Cor Plaza in Flint Township, has a menu that is sure to satisfy everyone in your party. The lunch buffet is good, but I prefer ordering from the menu. I dine there frequently with my friends and family. Some of our favorites main dishes are:

Channa Masala - chick peas in a spicy masala sauce
Chicken Tikka Masala - oven-cooked chicken in a spicy tomato cream sauce
Muttar Paneer - peas and cottage cheese cubes in a creamy curry sauce

On the side, try the Garlic Naan, flatbread stuffed with fresh garlic and baked in an oven. If you're thirsty, try a traditional Mango Lassi, a yogurt-based shake mixed with fresh mango and a bit of sugar.

And to satisfy your sweet tooth, there are several choices for dessert. I usually order the Gulab Jamun, donut-like balls soaked in a rich syrup.

Whether you already like Indian food or if you just want to try something new, be sure to visit Grill of India. You won't be disappointed.
