I have read some of the reviews and really do not understand the bad ones. I have delt with Park Ave. Gifts for over 7 years now. I purchase most of my Holiday and Special event gifts from these people and have never had a problem with ordering,shipping, or returning anything that was not to my satisfaction. Their pricing is below normal discount prices of other comparible companies and this has been the case since I started dealing with them. No one is perfect but this company sure tries hard to make it that way. As for me I will continue to use their services. Keep up the good work.

I don't understand the bad reviews here. I have been dealing with Park Ave. gifts for over 8 yrs. now and not once have I had any of the problems listed. I am an Interior Designer and they have provided me with china, crystal, flatware, figurines and lighting for all my customers. Not once have I been delayed on a deadline due to them. I recommend them highly to all my clients. The disgruntled reviewers might not like the fact that they are a family owned little guy business, if that is the case then shop at Bloomingdales. You won't get personal service from them, but you can buy stock off the floor. Stop picking on the Mom & Pop business, we need them and the hands on care they give us.

I canceled my order within the 6 day time frame their policy states for the woman to give me a MAJOR attitude and to tell me she doesn't like customers like me. What kind of a business do these people run? They questioned me over and over again why I didn't want the order anymore. I CHANGED MY MIND! especially because they could not give me a straight, honest answer about anything! They also said I wouldn't have to pay tax if I paid in cash, so I gave my deposit in cash. When I went to pick up my deposit, they said they normally don't accept cash & they didn't have it. I am now waiting for a check in mail and I will NOT let it slide!

I have had a horribly frustrating experience with Park Avenue Gifts as well. Over 1 1/2 years ago I ordered several bar glasses that I paid a deposit for initially. I contacted them repeatedly about the status of my order for about a year. They gave me several excuses as to why I had not received my order. Finally, I called to cancel my order and get a refund for my deposit. I was told that they could not credit my card I gave them, but a company check would be issued and sent to me in the mail. Of course, no such check has arrived, and it has been 6 months. I have been promised a return phone call from the owner and a reimbursement check mailed. I am not going to stop pursuing this issue. They have infuriated me, and they should be held accountable for what they're doing to customers.

I ordered my item on October 2008, they accepted my order and my credit card was billed but up to now I never received anything. I've sent them many many emails (20, at least!!!!) but they never gave mean answer on the delivery or were able to explain which was the problem or if they were to solve it. They are very slow: an answer can easily get 2 or 3 weeks to be processed and my case was an urgent one! Sometimes they do not answer at all I asked to be refunded and NEVER replied. I can give anybody proof of what I say

I usually don't respond to reviews, since each person has their own experience and agenda for witting one, but I felt compelled to set the story straight here. I am appalled by what I am reading, this is picking on the little guy. We used Park Ave Gifts in May 2009 for a charity fundraiser. They not only gave us 200 beautiful crystal bud vases as favors at cost, but they also provided us with a beautiful Armani and Lladro piece as raffle items for free. They were brought to our attention by a local Bridal site, that gave them rave reviews. This is a friendly family owned business that is more than happy to help you get the best deal and bend over backwards for you. We plan on giving all our business to them from now on and have spread their name across the Hamptons. We were so happy with the outcome of our event and their part in it, the two raffle items alone brought in more than $3,500. Thank you again Park Ave and your staff you made our fundraiser a big success!!

Think more than twice before ordering from this store. I ordered china from Park Avenue Gifts at the end of 2008; was billed the customary 20% deposit. In 3/2009 my credit card was billed the balance. My order has never been delivered. Despite repeated phone calls to Park Avenue Gifts, my "refund" check has never been delivered.

Buyer Beware! Ordered items and never received them. The owner refused to credit my credit card and sent me the credit via a company check that bounced for $111.00! I still cannot get my refund! Better to spend more money and shop with a reputable company!

Buyer beware, unauthorized dealer that does not stand behind it's products. Delivery takes forever if at all. Terrible service. BRIDES BEWARE. Deposits may be lost.

I got 9 hard to find crystal glasses from this guy for less than half the list price, several bucks a piece cheaper than anywhere else I could find. He was friendly to deal with, and shipped them out the next business day. The glasses were well packed, so everything came through fine (despite the fact that the UPS guy apparently doesn't know what "This end up" means). Would definitely buy from again.
