Circuit City

The customer service guys are not trained. Most of them just show they are busy and will not be willing to help at all.On Christmas eve I was waiting with $1000 goods ( including 2 video game), ready to purchase at cash register. I forgot to carry my gamers club card, so I asked them to check my membership # on their network and then use it. It was surprising that none of them knew how to do that and more over the cash register women had attitude. The Women was not fit for handling customer at all. I do not know how she was hired by Circuit city. Well that says why Circuit City is bankrupt. :) Well, to finish the story, I finally walked out without buying anything from there. I finally went to Bestbuy to buy my items.

I've been to several Circuit Cities in different areas and this one stood out as the worst one. First, the store is not as big as others. They often don't have items in stock, but if the item you are looking for is in stock, it's easy to find it (I guess it's because it's a small store, after all!). The worst thing about this Circuit City is the service. On multiple occasions, I was given wrong information by a store representive, brushed off without a real answer by a store representive, or just given a plain "I don't know." without trying to find the answer for me. Lastly, they made me wait for a LONG TIME to get my order, as if they have forgotten about my order.

PROS: It's acceptable if what you want is in stock & don't need help from reps.
CONS: Poor Service and items often not in stock.
