Both my kids have or are attending this school. This is what I like about it: a fantastic physical/music teacher. An extensive playground. Always changing toys in the classroom. Rotating pets (guinea pig, bunny, hermit crabs). Field trips (strawberry fields, pumpkin patch, grocery store, park). For slightly older kids, 4 and up, they offer an extra woodworking class that appears on a bus. They also have extended care for only a few dollars an hour.
In general, the staff is dedicated and caring. Some are better teachers than others, however, and some seem to have their hearts in it more than others. This can be frustrating to a parent. Also, they are not academically minded at all. In my experience, my daughter's preschool class before kindergarten was little more than a social exercise for her. She got kind of bored except for playing with friends. However, at kindergarten she quickly reached a par with those who went to academic preschools and even surpassed most, but I don't know if that is typical or just her. I also don't like that they do not make kids do art, because art projects get their coordination ready for writing. In general, their approach is to let kids be kids, grow gardens, and play, and that's good, but I don't know how this approach affects kids who may need extra help prior to beginning an academically rigorous kindergarten. That's something to consider.

My experience with this school has been GREAT! My son loves it. We've been there for one year now, and it has been such a positive experience for him. Very qualified and caring teachers and staff. Great annual Halloween Happening event. Highly recommend!
