Grand Avenue Hardware is the perfect place to find what you need for all of your home projects. They have a great selection of tools and have things people really want. The staff is very friendly and willing to lend a hand or some advice!

Wide selection, and they are eager to help get you the piece you need to complete your home projects. If you have questions regarding installation, they can usually help, and provide anything you need to finish the job. They have reasonable prices, and some great deals on occasions. Much friendlier atmosphere than a gigantic home depot.

Want to tile your bathroom or put a plant hook into the ceiling? No matter what you need, the staff in this place will find it for you & tell you how to do it, without making you feel like an idiot. There is always someone to help you, and most of them have worked there forever.

The store has EVERYTHING and it is actually quite a large space. The kitchen/housewares section has pots, pans, carpets, salt and pepper shakers, gifts, vacuums...

Because it is independent and local, they are able to tailor their inventory to what ppl in the area want. For example, there is a HUGE section for wood floor care, accessories for claw footed tubs, victorian style lighting, etc.

They used to be affiliated with Ace, but now I think they are "Do it best".

PROS: lounging kitties
CONS: need to remember to shut the door so the cats don't get out
