You have to love the independent coffee shops when you find them. This place simply does not disappoint. When you walk in you get a look at the walls and see art by locals. Best part is they usually switch it up too. They have this lower basement/private party area with plenty of seating where I have even watched a movie before. Everyone is friendly and you can get coffee, tea, even smoothies with shots of wheat grass if its what your looking for.

I really enjoyed this Coffee Shop, especially the cool atmosphere. They display local art, have an upstairs and a basement/pool hall, and the prices are reasonable.

Love this place.
The coffee, poetry readings, local artist displays, it is filled with culture and personality.
Great place to study, and get work done.

There's not much you can get here that you couldn't get at any other coffee place - except for the atmosphere. The tables are strangely designed and painted, there are used and worn books stacked high to the ceiling in bookcases, and there are different events every week, from live music to date auctions to in-place art galleries. It's a fun place, and a big hangout for UCR students, especially on the weekends.

This is an excellent coffee shop, with a personality that fluxes. You might not always like it, but stick around and it'll shift a little again. There are rotating art displays at this place, so the atmosphere seems to shift constantly. There are unique tables each painted seprately, and couches to lounge on. Good coffee and specialty drinks, though a little on the pricy side. A great indy place. They have live music sometimes, and run the RUPO (riverside underground poetry organization) out of their basement area every Monday night. A great cultural place, and good for hanging or studying.
