I have been going to East Hills for over 10 years now. The pastor is a great man who is down to earth and very personal. My family is not wealthy and the church has been there to show Acts 2 living (helping those in need within their community). Church members were there for our family when we were going through difficult times by visiting my mom who was dieing in the hospital to making sure we were being fed. The church has also been there to support my dad as he stepped back into full time ministry down in Mexico.

My wife and I have been going to East Hills Church for almost 5 months. The people are very friendly and loving. The Love for people shows in the outreach ministries that they have. They believe in giving to the poor and helping those in need. Meaning if we have to stay up all night at the hospital to pray for some one in need we just do it. The Pastor is down to earth and has a great word for everybody. My wife and I hope to be able to attend East Hills for many years to come. All small churches are in the growing stages and setting up programs to keep connected to their congregation. Praise God, God is Good All The Time...

People change churches for a variety of reasons - one of the nice things about the community of Jesus followers is that there are many ways to engage in worship. My family and I came from another local church after several years in service. We based our leaving on some serious prayer, soul searching and time spent listening and seeking an answer to the stay or go question. I have been at Easthills with my family for over a year now, and it has been a wonderful experience for me. I have never been to overly concerned about being part of an inner circle, and truthfully, the body of Christ will always be an imperfect, rugged frame around the perfect picture of Jesus. We will always find something to dislike if we are looking for it. I am being fed, my family is growing and we have been blessed. I hope whomever may read this will be inspired to give this church body a real try, not as a consumer, but as a believer - you will be blessed.

Not too impressive. Loud rock type music that is way over played. Same message each time we went... "you are all a bunch of sinners. What do you people think you're doing?" Well, sir, I attend church pretty regularly, support my family, active in the community, and so forth. Can't you ever say anything positive? We'll never know... Orangecrest Community Church is a more positive-focused church. We found our home there.

My family attended about 3 years and gave generously. But something was amiss - this church is very cliqueish. If you are not a wealthy family, you will not be in their inner circle.
Feeling somewhat left out, we began to explore other churches nearby and found one (The Grove) which has much more to offer. Yes, they too have many wealthy members but they are very accepting of all. We have attended services there as well as a few other nearby churches.
It has been 3 or 4 months since we attended services at East Hills. Our family has never received a single phone call from EHCC encouraging us to attend. Sadly it proved what many current and former members like ourselves say in hushed tones... the wealthy control this church and we'd better not try to change it.
Good bye East Hills... oh what ye could have been.

The location of Eat Hill Community Church is now located at 20660 Orange Terrace Parkway in Riverside, 92508. God has blessed this congregation with a new church building in October 2006. They have expanded their ministries and they have something for all ages! They have a terrific youth group, singles group, college and career group, women's ministry, childrens ministry, men's ministry, music ministry, couples ministry, and tons more! They are very caring and welcoming. They also have a Sunday night bible study at the church and the young man, Blake Wallace, leads an awesome Praise and Worship team. This is a non-denominational church and the Pastor is not at all liberal in his viewpoints. They have 2 Sunday morning services and a Sunday evening service/bible study. I absolutely enjoy attending this church and meeting their friendly outgoing congregation. I am just so excited to become part of this church that I want to share it with everyone, God Bless you and come give them a try!
