5 Stars: YUMMA...LICIOUS (by Kien T.)

We have been ordering from Emmy's since they were on Monterey Blvd. Either dining in or ordering for delivery the food is always excellent! Some of our favorites are the sesame chicken(make sure you get the sauce on the side if ordering for delivery), rock cod filet in black bean sauce, mah por tofu (if you like tofu), their claypots are great and my SUPER favorite, their chow funs. Their portions are extremely generous, I alway have left overs for lunch. Another cool thing is if you order over $20 you get free chow mein or fried rice! My whole family has gone there and my mom is super picky about her chinese food (being chinese) she loves it.

4 Stars: Good, fast, pretty cheap Chinese food! (by Leona C.)

Emmy's is good whether you pick it up to go or eat at the restaurant. I don't think I've had a bad dish here! The clams with black bean sauce were great (although a little salty, it was still soooo good!), salt and pepper porkchops and chow fun extra good, and I thought it was pretty cheap Chinese food for what you are getting. It's fun to come here with 5 or 6 people, order a whole bunch of dishes, and pig out, family-style. If I don't feel like driving out to the Sunset for Chinese, I can always count on Emmy's. I prefer it over the other Chinese places nearby on Ocean.

PROS: Good prices for great food, fast, reliable.
CONS: I can't think of any!!

5 Stars: I'm obsessed! (by stephanie l.)

This place rocks on so many levels! I seem to always crave this place when I do not feel like cooking. Since I am a vegetarian, this is the best Chinese place to get vegetarian specialities. This place specializes in vegetarian chicken recipes (using tofu and soy), and though it does not sound good, it is delicious! My favorite thing to order is the egg plant. The delivery guy comes VERY fast, sometimes in ten minutes. Don't forget...orders over $20 get a free chow mein, which is the BEST!!! I eat the whole thing everytime!

5 Stars: DELISH! (by Shannon W.)

This is the second best chinese restaurant I've been to, deliciousssss food. Their crab is the best. They don't use MSG and I swear to God that their food is heavenly, I love it! The price is not too expensive but what you would normally expect, you should definitely go try it out sometime, the portions are big and not the teensy weensy ones you sometimes receive.
