Sonic Boom Records Vinyl Store

My husband loves to check out record shops and this is no different. He could easily spend a few hours in there because he gets to listen to music before he buys. This is a place that has a variety of available music on vinyl and cd. Good bargains as well, but you have to be willing to dig through the crates and keep an eye out for that one gem. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I dig the scene and encourage others to give them a look.

there are tons of records available, but can be easily found in other record stores. the records i want, which i know are the rarities, are not at this record store. it amazed me because outside, the sign reads "a huge selection of records". i would say "a huge selection of easy-to-find records".

After the Fremont location of Sonic Boom amassed enough of a vinyl collection, they moved it all into a different store which is right around back from the regular one (go around through the alley) with different hours. It's nice - a good selection of stuff from a variety of genres. They're nice and easy to deal with, and it's ok to listen before you buy, too.
