Rancho Army-Navy Store

I visit the store approximately four times a year and have always find the staff to be very helpful, especially in locating large sized clothing items. either in the back room on in the manufacturer's catalogs. They could charge me more for special order clothing and I would have no way of knowing, but they don't. I especially appreciate that they will order in specials and ship to my home in the San Bernardino mountains, saving me a long drive to Temecula. Their Propper BDU pants are a fantastic value, compared to the uniform stores I have price shopped. RANS is NOT a Nortstrom. If it were I probably would not shop there.

Dusty and over priced. I thought the prices would be better by going out of the way to the surplus store but I would rather just go to the sports authority and get better service. Would not recommend this store.

We've shopped here multiple times. We've purchased Cub Scout uniforms, Girl Scout uniforms, winter jackets, gloves, camping gear, hiking gear and other items. The store is large and the staff is always there to assist you with any questions.

I have been to this store and the selection is great. I am taking my son there today to get some clothing for a class project. Unfortunately the customer service mentioned is indicative of the area. I have lived here for 6 years and have experienced bad customer service everywhere.

I've been to that store now 3 times and each time I've had a separate instance of piss-poor customer service. You'd think if you spend over $400 in a place they might be willing to help you. The people working there are grumpy and unhelpful. I will not be going back.

I am not a huge fan of these places but my husband is. So I went with him to this one and even I was impressed. It is huge, clean, and they have everything!

This place has a lot of good camping gear. They also have a fair selection of knives to offer. I would like to see a greater selection of local maps (most are general area, but none specific to local trips). Also, a larger gun selection (even if only accessories) would be nice. Would like to see some surplus military guns and ammo come in.

If you need camping equipment this store has it and more. you name it they have it. Clothing, tents Boy Scout stuff even police equipment. The help from the staff there was so so. Mostly friendly except for who I presumed to be the manager/ owner she seemed a bit grumpy.

Rancho Army-Navy Store is a fantastic store. They carry all boy and girl scout items. Military surplus. Cast Iron wear, water containers, MRE's, boots, jeans, shirts, hats. You name it. They have it and for a very reasonable cost.
Everytime we are in the area - it is a must stop and see what they have.
Highly recommended.

This store carries a wide assortment of camping gear (sleeping bags, tents, canopies, and other camping related equipment). They also carry things needed for fishing (poles and tackle) and a day outdoors. The staff is knowledgeable and have been helpful in the past for us. The prices are reasonable and the store is clean.

1.The Rancho Army-Navy Store in Temecula is a good spot buying outdoor equipment and clothing. They carry Dickies Brand clothing, a wide assortment of camping gear (tents, canopies, sleeping bags, Coleman products, etc), a selection of fishing equipment and other items needed for outdoor activities. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The building is fairly easy to access, however the main road that runs in front of it is currently under construction. (June 2005). The prices are very reasonable. This is a good place for campers and outdoors enthusiasts.
