This gym will not let you close your account. They will tell you that they are closing it and then will not. More than two months ago I had a conversation with the manager, Jeff, at the gym about my bank account being hacked and needing the close my accounts. He was polite and agreed to close them immediately. Two weeks later I began getting calls and letters from a third party looking to collect dues. I went back to the manager and he pleaded ignorance to the issue and promised to pursue the issue. He said he'd follow up with me in two days with confirmation the accounts were closed and the issue resolved. Instead he did not follow up with me and I needed to follow up with him. When I did he insisted he'd follow up with the issue again and get back to me. This back and fourth has been happening for weeks. He has given me one photo confirmation of one of the three closed accounts and is now trying to pass me to a different person who he promises will assist me. It is clearly not going to be what it takes to close the account. At this point, I have no ability to get the accounts closed. I have gone to the third party and they say there is nothing they can do. The general manager is even worse to deal with and in the meantime I am being charged hundreds of dollars in fees I cannot stop. I cannot allow this to effect my credit.

Has anyone gotten resolution from this god awful place? my poor mother in law had to pay UP FRONT for 1 year at $2400 and now that she is too sick to continue, they won't refund her. Did I mention, she is just coming out of Chemo and they

This is by far THE WORST customer service that I have ever encountered. It is bordering on CRIMINAL behavior. Before the change in ownership, I went in to cancel my membership within the 30 days of my next monthly charge per my contract.

I would not recommend this gym. They also filed for bankruptcy last year. This is what happened to me. \r

I have been a member of this gym for 10 years and is still a active member of this facility. Powerhouse was one of the worst experiences that I did have but since Santa Clarita Athletic Club came back and took over there has been a better

Lewd homosexual conduct always going on in the showers in early mornings, I would not recommend this club nor would I want my kids to be exposed to this behavior by accident! I also have also seen used steroid needles on the floor of the stalls.This place needs security and management on site 24/7

While the gym is pretty decent for the price and I do love how they have a women's only gym I would tell everyone to run away from them!!! We had SERIOUS problems with the child care to the point where my 3 year old REFUSES to go back. When brought up to management and told I would like out of my membership because of it they were very rude and unresponsive and did not care what happened to my child.

I was a memeber here for one year and even though I didn't continue, it wasn't because of the facility, it was me! I thought the facility was well kept and they had a great selection of machines to work-out on. They also has a good amount of classes to attend. Unfortunately, my schedule prohibited me from continuing, but I think this gym has everything you need to get a good work-out!!

I have been a member of various gyms since I was in High School. Powerhouse in Santa Clarita has been the worst experience I have ever had! The spinning bikes were faulty for the first 5 months of my membership. On multiple occasions,

With the new general manager in place at the Canyon Country location, I wouldn't consider re-joinining this gym unless they come to the conclusion that he's bad for their business. He was extremely rude and pompous. He also seems to be very deficient in Customer Service skills and his "aggressive" and arrogant attitude towards clients is not conducive to good business. When the owners wise up and fire this guy, I may consider coming back as a member.

All-around, a great gym. They have a huge selection of machines, raquetball, basketball, volleyball, a women's gym, a private gym, etc. My only complaint is the exorbitant prices: $50/month w/ raquetball. They're also open 24-hours during the week.

Cons: Main gym crowded, expensive, close early holidays
