Hertz Rent A Car

Whatever you do, do not rent from Hertz at SAN. Terrible customer svc, car rented to us was trashed. If you are not Gold member, forget good customer service. We have used several other rental agencies at SAN and this was by far, the worst. Biggest is not only the best in this case. From a seasoned traveler...

Be prepared to pay a little more than other car rental companies, but Hertz has a larger selection. If you travel a lot, like I do, I would definitely recommend becoming a Hertz Gold Member. It's an annual fee, but it saves you so much time that is just wasted standing in line. Your car is ready for you when you get there. It's a must for frequent travelers! They employees are always friendly.
