Great studios, I love it in here, the smell and the sights, everything about this place is engaging, I would love to stay in here for a while and engage myself.
5This place is really a good studio and located centrally in Western Addition. There are not too many yoga studios or gyms in the area and this one is great! The atmosphere is healthy and peaceful and the teachers are knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would recommend going to checking out a class, drop in is only $14 and they have changing specials by season.

The yoga loft is a very nice yoga studio in the Haight/panhandle area. The teachers are all very knowledgeable, friendly, and will help you out at a very individualized pace. The ambiance is great and really lends itself to a very relaxed feeling. I would recommend the Yoga Loft to anyone.

Comfrotable, welcoming space and some of the best instructors around -- particualrly their Iyengar teachers. Popular but not usually crowded.

Pros: Instructors, Space, Atmosphere
Cons: Parking
Beautiful studios; great, helpful people; informed, committed teachers; and a welcoming, easy vibe. The Loft offers space for asana-lovers as well as people pursuing a more rounded-out yoga practice. Finally a studio in SF that feels like home (and doesn't have plumbing problems). Thank goodness.

Pros: Spacious Space, Helpful Help, Bonus Bathroom
The Yoga Loft has certainly attracted some of the city's finest yoga teachers: the space is beautiful, sun-lit, fully equipped and the vibe is sincere, even homey-- not at all gimmicky. I am so happy that I have finally found a studio that feels true!

Pros: quality instructors, beautiful space, competitive rates
I enjoyed the classes I took here, but don't quite understand all the other '10' rave reviews here. I didn't feel that the quality of instruction was superior to other yoga classes in the City, or that the space was somehow more special. I'd say the instruction was competent, and the space was nice, and that's about it.

After trying out other studios in the city I was pleasantly surprised at the calm and helpful atmosphere at yoga loft. after going there for 6 months my practice has developed dramatically and i look forward to each class.

Yoga Loft provides a wonderful and warm environment for great yoga classes as well as other offerings. The women who run it do a great job of making their multi-room studio feel like a home and making you feel welcome there. They are also into supporting their community and the arts with special events. Yoga Loft is my favorite studio in SF.

Pros: The People, The Studio
The Loft is a wonderful community-oriented yoga and movement space. Great variety of classes and instructors, so all students are likely to find at least one whose style suits their needs. The owners have established a warm and inviting space for students of all levels, regularly offering lots of great workshops as well. Great instruction, beautiful space, supportive and friendly community. Extra love for the art gallery in Studio B! Namaste.

Pros: people, space, massage offered
Cons: i live far away
I started yoga after overtraining on my bike. I was skeptical at first, but now can't imagine not doing it. I've introduced many friends to the Yoga Loft and they feel the same way. Their instructors are extraordinarily knowledgeable about the poses, history and physiology of the practice.

Jane and Meg have a deep commitment to supporting both students and teachers in their practice of yoga -- working for the Loft has been a joyful experience. The desire to build an enriching, community-based space for sadhana is evident in the conversations before and after classes, in the excellence of the teachers (both Iyengar and Vinyasa), and in the airy spacious beauty of the rooms.

Pros: big rooms, good class size, sense of community
I have been in SF for several years and have tried many different styles of yoga. I mostly practice Bikram, Iyengar and Ashtanga and have found that the new Yoga Loft is an absolutely beautiful place to practice. There is a great variety of classes, educated and dedicated teachers, an open, airy, beautiful space, and an overall good feeling about the place.

the loft is a wonderful place! there are so many ways to learn and grow in a yoga practice here, so many different types of teachers, with different levels of experience, but all dedicated to the serious personal inquiry that is at the heart of yoga. the directors manage a rare balance of open-mindedness and inclusive diversity with a sincere and serious focus on the integrity of practice. there is a rich exploration of what 'yoga' can mean for us in the 21st century, while still respecting the traditions from which these practices spring. the studio is less than a year old, but already it has a reputation for being a place for community, where people come together to actually share a yoga practice. it's a beautiful place!
