I am always trying new products so I bought a few from Verabella last time I was there. They work great! I have an oily t-zone and the moisturizer that I bought has really worked. I have not been as shiny. I would def buy again.

They have the most incredibly deluxe facials and are very knowledgeable about how to help you take care of your skin from home. They really care and want your skin to look its best and Vera and Victoria make the salon feel super comfortable.
Even though I used to think that there was not much of a difference between MOST skin products (not including really bad ones:) their products have actually really helped my skin. I now notice that my skin just does not respond as well when I use other types of skin care line.
Vera has been very helpful in educating me on the needs of my skin and how to keep it looking dewy and glowing. I have experienced many facials at many salons and I have never stayed with one for this long. I plan to be a lifetime customer at Verabella.

I have been going to Verabella for about 6 years. Before I went to Vera, my skin was both oily and flaky, and it was dull with clogged pores. My skin is now radiant and smooth. Makeup goes on without a glitch, but I can just as easily wear no makeup. I am often mistaken for being much younger than I am, and when asked what my secret is, I confess it's Vera. No surgery, no injections, just a simple daily routine using her wonderful products and getting monthly facials.

I recently treated my 12 year old daughter to a facial, as her skin was very clogged and she was starting to get typical preteen pimples. One of Vera's associates gave her the most gentle facial, cleaned her skin, and educated her about how to properly clean her face. She's almost 13 now, and she has the most beautiful pimple free and blackhead free skin. She'll get twice a year facials now, and she uses all Vera's very affordable and gentle products. My 10 year old daughter also uses her facial cleanser and face lotion with spf. It's never too young to teach them how to care for their skin.

I can't say enough about Verabella. She offers other fabulous treatments beyond facials, but my favorite thing is to lie back in her relaxing treatment room, tucked under a fluffy duvet and fall asleep as she gently cleans and rejuvenates my skin.

Vera and Victoria make me feel super comfortable here! I am glad to have discovered Verabella and to have met them! I've lived in Los Angeles for a few years now and have been in the Beverly Hills area, working and living for most of the time. I am used to most everyone and businesses in the area having snooty uppity attitudes so am very turned away from going to any of these places. BUT VERABELLA IS THE OPPOSITE!! They are super friendly...definately not overpriced, you receive 90 minute facials instead of 60min like most places, and they all truly care about improving your skin! This does not happen over night though, like I noticed one of the reviewers below assumes is supposed to happen, but take a few regular visits and you have an instant confidence boost from such gorgeous clean skin! My husband has noticed my skin looking better and touched and kisses my face so much more!! CLIENT 4 LIFE!

My mother takes Ambien, but all I need is a few minutes of steam, a mask, and I'm out like a light. Anyone with a two year old will tell you that this alone is worth the price of admission. My facialist was pretty rockin' too. Not only talented in terms of the services and pampering, but total eye candy which is a nice extra bonus for a mid-day retreat. Yes, straight guys get facials too. So anyway, they don't get nearly as many guys as gals coming in, so they asked me to write a review and I couldn't be happier to do so. I just wish that I'd found them sooner, 'cuz I've been in LA for about 3 years now and it's not easy to find a place that makes you feel like family...especially in the rarefied air or Beverly Hills. I don't remember which facial I got, but my face smelled like Thanksgiving with the pumpkin peel. It was a little tingly, which is I guess because it's acidity, but the rest of the process was pure heaven...and if you need deep cleaning like me, you'll be especially happy. So, I'll have to find another nervous habit, because the owner said she'd killl me if I keep picking.

All the reviews on citysearch that rave about Verabella are obviously all friends or employees of this place because they pay citysearch to advertise. I'm assuming unless you've had a facial done by Vera herself (which costs a lot more), you would NOT recommend this place. After paying over $100 for a "gourmet" facial, my skin did not leave in any better condition than it was before. Don't be fooled by their alluring descriptions and so-called discounts. Quality is mediocre AT BEST, but more than anything I was completely turned off by the customer service. Victoria is RUDE and should learn some manners. Unless you're a celebrity, don't expect to be treated like a PAYING client. She expects you to cater to HER instead of the other way around. There a a zillion other facialists in town, why throw your money away here? I get a facial at least once a month so I've been to almost every place in town. If you're looking for a good place, I've been very pleased with Matty's on third, and Kinara, amongst others. AVOID Verabella at all cost!!!

I've only had about 5 facials in my life, but the Verabella facial I had was the best of the 5. They put exotic foods on my face, including roses and chocolate, and when I left my skin felt very soft and just glowed. I had some red marks for a couple days from the extractions, but I am sure that the extractions made my breakouts heal up much faster than they otherwise would have. And my facialist was also a wonderful masseuse. At the end of the facial, I felt very relaxed, like I'd been on vacation for a week. I highly recommend this place. The products they sell are pretty good too, but some of them have parabens, so I try to avoid those.

Pros: Leaves skin soft and glowing, and leaves you very relaxed

Cons: Expensive facial, but worth it if you want a special treat for yourself

I have been getting facials for 30 years. I started going to Verabella's about six years ago. yummy. exciting. super-effective are some of the adjectives to describe my experience. Medea is my gal. she does fabulous eyebrows (waxing) super mini-lifts and dreamy roses and chocolate facials. those are just some of her delights. reasonable. luxurious and ooooh soo worth it.

Media is the most professional skin care extraordinaire in Los Angeles!! She takes such great care of my skin and know the best products that will not react with my skin. I love the pumpkin facial!! I've struggled with acne all of my life and as a result have been to many skin care salons in the past. But, I have to say, Verabella has produced the most superior, consistent results! After just two visits, I was amazed with how much my skin had improved. I have been going to Verabella for two years now and refuse to go anywhere else. I am so grateful for Verabella. Thanks to their helpful, friendly staff and wonderful product line, I no longer have acne and love my skin.

My 90 minute treatment was delightful, relaxing and pampering! While being informed of the natural ingredients during my treatment, I also received a customized peel just for my skintype! What set Verabella apart from other skincare salons was that I did not leave red and blotchy! I was able to take advantage of Verabella's great location- near great shopping and dining! Their skincare line is simple and not overwhelming! Their friendly receptionist created samples that were made just for me too and now I can't live without my Tea Tree Aloe Gel!

I'm excited to report how great my facial was. I tried the "Everythings Coming up Roses & Chocolate Facial", first because I loved Gypsy Rose Lee and also because I love roses. OH MY GOD! My facial was delicious. It smelled so great and felt so relaxing and my skin looked beautiful and rosy. I have been a client of Allah Michaels for 10 years, and the facials & treatments I have experienced are divine! Allah is extremely knowledgeable & skilled, and always checks my complexion beginning to see what needs to be done. The products are divine! I am a fairly frequent spa goer, and I have to rave about my facial at Verabella. I'm always skeptical before going in to get a facial with someone I'm not familiar with, but I was put at ease the minute I walked into Verabella. I was amazed to see all the clients and staff hugging and laughing with eachother as if all the clients were an extended family. My facial was amazing, not to mention the great products they use. I recommend this place to anyone who wants an amazing experience.

It takes a certain amount of skill and incredible disposition to perform bikini waxes, and to do them well. Medae is by far the best bikini waxer I've ever been to. This place is a bit hard to find at first b/c its tucked away into this amazing plaza in Beverly Hills, but once you find it you'll be a customer for life. Everyone here is so friendly and personable. Its like Cheers, everybody knows your name. Medae also does amazing brows too.

I had a facial @ Verabella a week ago and was very impressed, not only are the facials effective and left my skin glowing, its also very luxurious!! The front desk was very nice and showed me the mineral makeup line and matched my color very well!! I also have an appt in 2 wks for another facial because my skin looks so good !!

Ohhh...my god, if you havent been to Vera Bella yet you are truely missing out! I have been going to Vera Bella for about 2 years now, and let me tell you its like my 2nd home. Everyone who works there is so welcoming, and knowledgable about skin care. The products they use during my facials truely make a difference. I used to get random breakouts, then they suggested the mineral make-up to me and it has truely improved my skin. I will never go anywhere else for my skincare needs!

I've been to a ton of spas/ salons for skin care and this place is truly one of the BEST! I just had a facial with Lilla earlier today and it was amazing! The basic facial is an hour and a half and $95, which to me is a major deal. I highly suggest Verabella to anyone who is looking to have amazing skin without using your entire paycheck!!!!! p.s. their products smell soooo amazing, I admit I've been tempted to taste them!

Sometimes Citysearch sends me the wrong way. I had a subpar facial here that left me red with blotches and welts as well as one hole/scar that still hasn't gone away after a week. They used the needle for extractions, not good. It was very clinical, the facialist talked the entire time, I could hear the phones and talking at the front desk, and she tried to get me to pay extra for an exfoliation and a "special" mask. Shouldn't the CLASSIC facial include those things?
I don't understand why this place is on here at all. I've had much better facials in a much nicer environment (this place felt like my 3rd grade classroom in terms of ambiance) and would never come back here. See my other ratings for info on what a facial should be like.

I have been to Verabella several times and do enjoy the facials very much. It is nice and luxurious, and I go here to feel good. However, for such an upscale (?) salon, there is too much product pushing. I also wish they would validate for the entire parking period. But the one thing I find especially disturbing is that I sometimes see the employees outside smoking. A skincare salon should not allow their employees to smoke during business hours, and when they are standing right outside the entrance it makes it even worse. It sets a bad example but more so it is disgusting to think about the smokers fingers touching my face.

I'm delighted to say that after many attempts at finding a great facial place in LA, I finally found it. Detailed, luxurious and all encompassing. After just one visit I felt clean, pampered and not at all pockmarked. My skin was actually glowing! Alla is incrediably knowledgable about skin as well as about each product's effectiveness and ingredients. It turns out she was a cosmetic chemist in her former Russian homeland. I know that Russian facialists have a good reputation for extractions, but often (both here and in NY) you feel beat up after a treatment. Not here!!!!!
I loved my facial and I will tell everyone I know about Verabella. That's also why I'm writing this review. Good luck, god bless and book ahead, because this place is small and books up quickly.

I found Verabella thru this website and boy am I pleased that I did. I'm about to give birth and wanted to get waxed for my delivery. Not only was my waxing lady thorough, but she made the whole experince incredibly comfortable, especially in my state. She's a mother of two herself and knew how to make me feel both welcomed and beautiful. Thank you, Medea, I'll be back soon.

Had my worst brazilian wax here ever last Friday. I requested to make my appt. 10 min. later because I knew I would be a little late. They said they would keep it at the original time and it would be fine. When I got there, the therapist was already in a foul mood because I was late and brusquely ushered me onto the table. The application was sloppy and she took NO care as to how much pain she was causing me, ripping off large pieces at a time. The result was RED, BLOTCHY and PATCHY. No soothing lotion at the end either, she just covered me with talcum powder which made the whole mess look even more ridiculous. Worst of all, I discovered to my horror when I got up at the end that the towel I had been resting my head on was covered in SOMEONE ELSE'S PLUCKED FACIAL HAIR. I am not kidding. I paid $60 - the most I have ever paid - for the worst wax I have ever had. Stay away!

I have to say this is the best facial I have ever had! Vera is very knowledgeable about the skin and she does the best extractions. I have been dealing with oily skin and blackheads for many years now, and she has helped me clear up my skin. Her facials are both relaxing and directed at getting results! It is one and a half hour, as opposed to the one hour facial. She will recommend her products and her suggestions, if you follow it, you will definently get beautiful skin!

I moved to NY about six months ago and the place I missed most was Verabella and all the beautiful ladies that work there. Vera, first and foremost is the queenbee. She's a delight. Her facials are like mini-vacations. You feel warm and relaxed and very clean. She'll clean out your pores and not leave a mark and best of all the facial includes this warm mask that simply puts you out. Media, is a wonderful waxer. Bikinis and eyebrows are her specialty. She not only shapes my brows, but she dyes them too. She gives my arches some extra love and they always look great. Ripsy does my feet if I'm lucky enough to get in with her, but now that I;m bi-coastal she usually makes room for me. This place cannot be duplicated, its truely one of a kind! I miss you guys more than words can say.

The good news is, this was one of the best facials I've had. The facialist was extremely thorough and made sure I was comfortable as she massaged, extracted, rubbed, steamed, exfoliated, etc. etc. I had virtually no blackheads and couldn't even see a pore when she was done.
The cons,
My apointment was actually 75 minutes as opposed to 90minutes. Not a big deal cause the facial speaks for itself. They only validate and hour, so bring about $7.00 for parking. And the I wasn't thrilled about the pushy selling of products..the quality speaks for itself and the products are great, no need to sell them to me.

While Verabella is known for pampering treatments like the champagne caviar celebrity thing, their real value is in their ability to clear up your skin without taking anti-biotics or other drugs. I started doing microdermabrasion there about 4 months ago, and my skin has never been clearer. And that's after years and years and thousands of (insurance) dollars that were wasted at the derm with anti-biotics, chemical peels, etc. Their product line is unbelievable too. Thank g-d I don't have to spend every morning getting dry flaky skin off my face like I used to with the dermatologist's regimen. Thank you Verabella!!! I buy the series now which knocks about 10% off the price, and the service qualifies for my FlexPlan which is paid for with pretax dollars which I get reimbursed.

I have had monthly facials for the better part of 25 years.
I have been a client of Verabella's for over 10 years. I am at that 50ish point of my life. My facialist, Allah Michels, has given me the best care and guidance I could ask for. The proof is in the pudding: I receive compliments about my skin often. I have not had a facelift or anydramatic surgery. Just great skin care...and I stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen. Microderm facials and pumpkin peels and eyelash tints. All, very good.

I found Verabella on citysearch and decided to give them a try, I am so glad that I did. As a person who enjoys a little pampering and loves facials, these ladies know what they are doing. The staff is very professional and friendly. My skin has never felt or looked better! The home remedies they suggested work and my skin condition has improved. I will definately be back to experience more from these skin care specialists!

I've been coming here since i was in high school when my skin was not at its best. Now, I simply come to Verabella, because their services are the greatest. I have my facials with the owner Vera, who's like a mother to me. She is so knowledgeable about my skin and all the ingredients and products that she recommends. The Verabella products are terrific, their very inexpencive and they WORK! I love love love the Citrus Sorbet and the Tea Trea Aloe Gel. I used to get my bikini wax done by Medea who is also like a mother to me. But now, Vera offers laser hair removal, so I'm getting both my bikini and legs zapped clean. And its not even a painful as waxing can be. The nurse who does my laser is named Alisa--Very good! I just love all the girls here, their like family.

The BEST facial I have every had! I highly recommend this place to everyone! I will definitely be going back! The place is small but the staff is very professional and they make you feel welcomed. My skin feels amazing, even after two weeks from my appointment and their products are wonderful. They only accept cash for tips.

Verabella is unique. Although it has several celebrities for clients, non-celebrities are treated the same (or better)! I feel welcomed and special every time I call or visit, which is often. I go to Medea who is not only a fantastic facialist and waxer, but is very sweet and nurturing. All of the staff are warm and friendly. The facials are an experience not to be missed -- especially the Fall on Your Face one. My visits to Verbella are my special treat; afterward, I am not only relaxed, but my skin is beautiful!

If you've ever wondered what a brazilian/playboy bikini wax is? Well, this is the place to find out. I've never had such a great experience with waxing, as I have here. The person to see is Medea. She is truely gifted in this domain. Not only is the result fantastic, but the experience is very comfortable, especially if its your first time taking it all off. My boyfriend can't thank me enough!!!!!!

The facials at Verabella a amazing!!! I was originally referred to them by a friend who suggested that I needed deep cleaning and then some. Well, my pores got thoroughly cleaned out and I left there, NOT red or blotchy, but GLOWING and smiling from ear to ear!!! In my experience, facials are usually classified into two catagories, clinical or pampering. Well, at this place I get the best of both, without any sacrifice and without breaking the bank. I've told my mother and sister and many friends. I especially like the girls at the front desk, who are always trying to get me in, even if I call last minute. If they put me on the wait-list, they call, until they get me in. Now that's service.

Verabella is a refreshing haven. Don't go there expecting a lush spa with gardens, steam baths and the sort. That is not what this place is all about. They specialize in skin care and treatment, and do a wonderful job at that. They usually have some seasonal special, so ask about those. My skin has never been clearer or more radiant and I know I have Verabella to thank for that.

This place is great for clearing up the skin, costs less than you're going to pay a Bev. Hills dermatologist. The packages just leave your skin feeling healthy and radiant. If you have any skin problems, or just want a relaxing session, Verabella is a great place.
