We were going to Sea World and needed a place to stay. This place was sufficient, but not worth the price. Our room was small, and although the hotel was very clean, it felt more like a motel to me. I would stay there again if the price reflected the hotel better.

Mostly any hotel you go to around the San Diego harbor is good. The Island Palms is really great because of the view of the bay. It is right near the Bali restaurant and it has paths that walk by the harbor. You can walk to the sand from the hotel. It is very nice and the maid service is very timely.

I normally don't care to stay at the Best Western Hotels, however we needed a place to stay close to the Harbor and this is what was avaiable. I was pleased with the prices and the friendly service. The rooms were decent sizes and they were updated and clean. I would recomend this place any vistors.
