We booked a room with 2 beds online for 2 nights for the 12th and 13th of October.\r\nWe arrived with our online emailed confirmation.\r\nWe paod for two nights.\r\nOn the second night we discovered our key cards did not work.\r\nThe lady at the office said she had made an error and resold our room.\r\nI understand a mistake.\r\nI am 63 and waited outside from about 11 pm to 1 am for her to locate our belongings.\r\nI know we have to sign a paper to get our room that says they are not responsible for personal belongings.\r\nBut they entered our paid for room and removed them.\r\nShe promised to ship them to us prepaid.\r\nShe also promised to call me if they could not be located.\r\nI waited exactly 7 days and called and reached the same girl.\r\nShe then said she had not called me because someone had removed her note on the wall with our phone number.\r\nI now believe nothing she has said at all. \r\nOur phone number was clearly on the emailed confirmation letter, plus the sign in sheet we signed to get our room.\r\nThey removed our belongings from our reserved and paod for room and have lost them?\r\nThey became responsible when they took them.\r\nWe may have been responsible when we left them.\r\nThe room was not broken into.\r\nThey went in and removed them and did not excercise even reasonable care.\r\nThe headquarters is not letting us know who the owner is of that unit.\r\nWe were told it is the same as the others in the mid and southern valley.\r\nTheir policy is to do nothing to replace personal belongings; period.\r\nHeadquarters for Accor Hotels is in Greenville, Texas. \r\nI had used them faithfully for 50 years.\r\nI no longer trust, nor even like them at all.\r\nI asked only 150 diollars for stuff that was worn one time only.\r\nI take new clothes with me on trips.\r\nThey feel they are protected because I live in another state and can't take them to small claims court.\r\nI am almost positive it was one of their employees that took our stuff.\r\nIt could not have been mistaken for garbage.\r\nDon't trust them!

Pros: Used their clean simple low cost rooms for decades.

Cons: Understand their reselling our room in error. But they should replace the items they romved from our paid for room.

This motel 6 is very handy. It is right off the freeway and the prices were good! The front desk lady was very nice and friendly! The room was tiny and dirty though.

PROS: Friendly staff
CONS: dirty room
