A Wee Kirk O' The Heather

We chose the Wee Kirk O the Heather for our April 7 wedding in Las Vegas. We couldnt have been happier with our choice right from the beginning all our questions were answered promptly and in the most helpful manner by Shelby via e-mail and phone.

The day we arrived in Las Vegas we walked to the chapel from our nearby hotel to confirm the wedding details. Shelby and Elvis were in the office that day and greeted us as if we were old friends. That brief visit made us feel special and valued. We were thrilled with the classic beauty of the chapel itself. It was traditional, charming and very tastefully decorated.

Two days later the wedding! It was perfect. We met Lynn that day and she spent a lot of time explaining how the ceremony would proceed. Her kindness and warmth took away any nervousness we had and she made us feel comfortable and at ease.

Elvis walked me down the aisle and sang I Cant Help Falling in Love. He was amazing funny, spontaneous, talented and very handsome in his gold jacket. Partway through the ceremony he performed his own version of the wedding vows, which had us laughing and enjoying every minute. He was a real class act and definitely helped make our day.

The minister officiated, guided us through the traditional vows and led us in prayer. His beautiful words and his kindness and gentle manner will remain in our memories of this special day.

The photographer took photos throughout the ceremony in such an efficient manner that we hardly noticed. Afterwards he took a series of posed photographs and was so skilled an professional that we felt comfortable and at ease throughout. The results were absolutely stunning. We love every single shot and plan to purchase the lot.

Our day was perfect. It was romantic, fun, touching and joyful. We have these wonderful people in this lovely location to thank. We highly recommend the Wee Kirk O the Heather to anyone wanting to get married in Las Vegas.

We had the best day when we renewed our vows. My husband and I had wanted an Elvis wedding the first time round, but due to the travelling distance, we opted for to stay at home in the UK and do it. As we were in Las Vegas on holiday in April, we decided to see how viable and affordable it would be to renew our vows while we were there.

We had the best service from the second I emailed them right up until we were dropped back at our hotel after the ceremony. All my questions over email were answered promtly and courteously, the limo picked us up on time, the staff were wonderful, the venue is beautifully quaint, Elvis was perefct, the photographer took brilliant pictures and the after service has been impeccable. I was amazed at how special everyone made us feel even though they must do many weddings a day! And everyone seemed to really be enjoying it too which made them feel like guests. Such a wonderful experience.

My husband n I decided to go to Vegas n celebrate our wedding anniversary. We decided that we wanted to renewed our wedding vows of 25th years. After going in the Internet n checking different options n reading different reviews of some of them. I tell u, I felt in love with the Wee Kirk Chapel. Let me tell u, u can pick any wedding style u want from traditional to having Elvis in your own wedding. How cool is that. I pick a traditional wedding. Our special day was April 16, 2013. I wanted something nice n simple. The minister was outstanding n made our day very special. The photographer was great, awesome pictures. But best of all the wedding co-ordinator Lynn was such an amazing lady, sweet as sugar. She made our day sooooooooo special. Everything was better than I expected. I would never forget this special day. I wish I would it known doing this when I got marry 25th years ago. I would it done it here. Stress free, affordable, everything is provided for u, n best of all everything came out amazing. Gorgeous Chapel, great pictures n best of all great memories. Thanks Lynn for making our special day super!!!!!!

From the first e-mail the contact was friendly and very endeavour! We had a pick up from our hotel (stratosphere), then the ceremony in the chapel (Renewal of vows) and the a flight with the helicopter ( a surprise for my husband) about Las Vegas in the night. I dont want to say to much, but I can say it was a wonderful romantic day! It will be unforgettable!! At all co-worker a very big thank you!!! Were married 35 years! This was such a great place! The staff was really great and friendly! We were married in March here! The people were very informative and kept in contact with us from the time we reserved the chapel right up to the day the limo picked us up at our hotel! We would recommend this chapel to everyone!

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! We celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary with Vow Renewal with ELVIS at Wee Kirk on April 12th, 2013. I highly recommend inviting Elvis to your wedding if you have a sense of humor and want to experience something truly entertaining and unforgettable!! We pick Wee Kirk for many little reasons that meant something to us, and we received the best customer service-Shelby helped with keeping our day simple, with all the little touches that we asked for.
It was all worth it to see my Joe waiting at the end of the isle with a huge smile and happiness. During the ceremony Elvis incorporated parts of Heart Break Hotel, In the Ghetto, "Hound Dog", "Honka, Honka Burning Love", Return To Sender", Blue Suede Shoes Viva Las Vegas. The renewal ceremony was the best ever, and the staff made it a wonderful experience !

On February 24, 2013, my husband Tom and I renewed our wedding vows for our
30th wedding anniversary at the Wee Kirk O' The Heather Wedding Chapel.
We were greeted by Lynn who treated us with enthusiasm and friendliness.
It was time to begin the ceremony! Tom entered the chapel and I
waited outside with the minister Elvis! Lynn opened the French doors and Elvis escorted me down the aisle. He played his guitar and sang Love Me Tender. However, he made the most amazing changes in the lyrics. My husband was waiting with a huge smile and amazement. I was filled with happiness and excitement. Tom and I never imagined what a fun experience would await us.
During the ceremony Elvis incorporated parts of Heart Break Hotel, In the Ghetto, "Hound Dog", "Honka, Honka Burning Love", Return To Sender", Blue Suede Shoes Viva Los Vegas. The renewal ceremony was the best ever. Tom promised to never leave me in the Heart Break Hotel or in The Ghetto.

We were very happy and we had the best time in all our years together.

Elvis was so handsome in his gold suit jacket. He was funny, creative, and energetic
His showmanship was the very best. The photographer took many candid
photos of all of us. Lynn was very gracious and a pleasure to have met her.
Everyone that assisted me from start to finish was very professional and helpful.
I was very pleased to have chosen the Wee Kirk Wedding Chapel for our renewal ceremony and I highly recommend the chapel for your special event!

My husband and I as well as our best friends renewed our wedding vows together on March 9th 2013.
Our experience at the Wee Kirk O' the Heather Wedding Chapel was outstanding. The limo picked us up on time from the hotel and drove us to our lovely dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. The staff at the Chapel were exceptionally friendly and organized. The use of the real flowers was a pleasant surprise and a lovely touch.
Elvis was so awesome!!! We laughed and cried during our double ceremony, We were so impressed with the entire experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the same experience.

My fiance and I were having problems planning a wedding that was just about "us." Everyone had their own opinions and input, so on a whim we decided that while we were in Vegas for his sister's wedding we would just sneak off and get married by ourselves. We weren't sure we were going to go through with it; then we called the Wee Kirk and changed our minds immediately. From the initial phone call, to the wedding, even the service we received after was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. We got the Elvis package and we were NOT let down. Elvis was amazing (more amazing then the Elvis at his sister's wedding, trust me)!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect beginning to the rest of our lives than the one the Wee Kirk gave us. Weddings can be a stressful time and I will definitely make sure if anyone wants to elope in Vegas, they call Wee Kirk.

This chapel gave us exactly what we wanted (a simple, intimate, traditional ceremony). There was no pressure to buy more. The minister was outstanding and made the ceremony feel very personal and significant. The photographer and wedding co-ordinator were friendly, relaxed and yet professional. I'm pleased with the photos and overjoyed with the memories. If you want reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere I recommend Wee Kirk.

It was the perfect, intimate, uninterrupted opportunity to exchange our wedding vows. The staff, minister and photographer were great! It was a wonderful experience for us, especially since this wasn't our first time at the rodeo. We would recommend this to anyone looking to get away and just be focused on each other for their special day!

My husband and I had decided to renew our wedding vows in Las Vegas with an Elvis Ceremony to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. After much research on the internet we chose Wee Kirk. I had thought trying to do this via email from Australia would be difficult, but from my first enquiry via email, the staff at the Chapel were so helpful and professional - Michael, Shelby and Lynn answered all out questions and where completely upfront about the cost, including gratuaties. We chose the 'Love Me Tender' package and couldn't have been happier - we also opted to purchase the online package as an extra so friends and family at home could join in. The chapel was small but nicely decorated inside and more than big enough for us and our 4 guests. Elvis was great and we all got in to the spirit of the ceremony. The whole thing was so much more than we had imagined and it made the day really special - memories that will last a life time. Our friends and family are still raving about the ceremony. The photographer on the day was got some great candid photos of the ceremony. The chapel also organised a limo to pick us up from our hotel and drop us back to the restaurant after the ceremony which just topped things off nicely. We would definitely recommend Wee Kirk as the place to have your wedding or renew your vows in Las Vegas. A very big thankyou to all the staff for making our 20th anniversary so amazing!!

I, too, am leary of planning and booking everything online but the process was easy and the coordinators (ask for Shelby) were polite, answered all our questions, and were very professional. They were upfront about the prices with no hidden fees. Elvis was wonderful! He made renewing our vows fun and exciting! The chapel is older (built in the 1940s) but the charm is warming and the glamarous Las Vegas history just fills the chapel. I have recommended Wee Kirk Chapel to others getting married or want to renew their vows and I will contine to recommend them! Call now!

We hit Vegas to get married, no chapel in mind. Pure luck brought us to Weekirk and we fell in love. So pretty inside and out!!! The ceremony was awesome, and we were treated like we were the only wedding they'd done all week!! The photographer took beautiful photos and between those photos and the DVD of the ceremony, we have perfect memories to last our lifetime together. If I had it to do all over again, I would not change a single detail. Even though we were doing a Vegas quickie, I did not want a cliche Vegas wedding and this was anything but that. Classy place, classy people. I left feeling like I'd made friends who truly were an integral part of my wedding. I can't say enough good about this chapel!!!

What a fantastic wedding renewal this was! We had great fun in what was a complete surprise for my wife....especially that Elvis was to marry us.
I had fantastic help from the staff whilst planning this as I was doing it from the UK and, as I said, without my wife knowing.
Everything was personalised to us and we had great fun being sung to and with an Elvis who obviously loved his job.
A wonderful memory and well worth the money I spent.

We had our ceremony here in APril, 2012 and it is a day we will both never forget.
First class service from beginning to end. The staff were very friendly and really helped walk us through what we though would be a very effort-laden process.

Unbelievable! We booked Wee Kirk for our May wedding and it was better than I had hoped for. Shelby is amazing, and she is so much more than a wedding coordinator. She probably emailed me every week for a year and always had lots of extra tips and info for our trip. All the staff and the minister made our day very special with their personal, sincere, and professional attention. Not once did we feel rushed or like we were in an assembly line chapel. Our freinds and family also loved watching the live-feed of our ceremony. What a great idea! I can't say enough about the Wee Kirk Wedding Chapel. You won't be treated better anywhere else.

After searching online and speaking to Shelby about wedding plans, we chose the Wee Kirk Chapel. Every detail met our expeactations. I told Shelby what we would like and she helped us decide the package and price that was best for us. Since we both had been married before, we wanted a stress free wedding. All of our children came and everyone at Wee Kirk maded it the special day we dreamed of. It was romantic and Elvis provided fun for everyone. We would highly recommend Wee Kirk Wedding Chapel to one!!!

I am so happy we chose the Weekirk to have our wedding ceremony! We had no idea where to even start and decided to check out the reviews already posted. Weekirk had a 5 star rating and was very close to where we were staying and very easy to find! Shelby was extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient, the Minister was very warm, and the photographer was excellent! Definitely 5 star worthy!! We are already talking about visiting the Weekirk again to renew our vows :)

We wanted to get married in Vegas and after a lot of on-line investigation we chose the Wee Kirk. Both Shelby & Lynn were really helpful and friendly from the very start, they dealt with all my queries quickly and provided loads of helpful advice and information. We travelled from the UK a few days beforehand and Shelby was still on hand over the phone which gave me reassurance that all would go to plan. On the day we were picked up on time by the limo we??d book through the Wee Kirk, the driver was polite and friendly and we had a lovely journey from out hotel to the chapel. We were greeted by Shelby as soon as we arrived and talked through the proceedings. The chapel itself is small and quaint but this intimate setting was exactly what we wanted, it was ideal. The ceremony itself was beautifully conducted by Van who accommodated our request to have a few things specifically mentioned during the ceremony. After the wedding Lucas the photographer took loads of photos both in traditional wedding poses and some that were less formal which came out brilliantly. After the photos we were taken back to our hotel, again a very pleasant journey and at the end we were given what felt like genuine best wishes and congratulations from our limo driver. All in all we couldn??t fault the service we had from the Wee Kirk, at no point was anything too much trouble, the ceremony itself was conducted beautifully and we were never rushed. When we viewed the photos on line once we were back in the UK we were surprised at how good they were and from what I can gather a bargain price compared to what some of the other chapels charge. All in all a wonderful experience and I would heartily recommend the Wee Kirk if you??re looking for a Vegas wedding.

My fiancee (now wife) and I purchased one of the lower-priced packages at Wee Kirk. Due to the low cost and Vegas' reputation for cheap and speedy weddings, we expected our transaction to be treated solely as a business transaction. Boy were we wrong!

Our experience with the chapel's staff was extremely friendly, personable and helpful: I'm involved in law enforcement so my wife and I thought it would be a fun and memorable idea if the minister would handcuff us together after being pronounced man and wife. We asked the chapel if this would be possible, fully expecting to receive a response of "Nope. That's not part of the package. Too bad". The staff member (Shelby, if I recall) let me know that they'd never received that request before but, to our surprise, seemed genuinely happy to look into it for us. She checked with a manager, who was also unsure if they could fulfill our request. Instead of taking the easy way out and denying it, they actually checked into it and even reached out to the specific Minister that would be conducting the ceremony to see if they would be comfortable doing it. We were happy to hear that the chapel would be glad to use the handcuffs!

On the day of our wedding, when rehearsing the ceremony, they intentionally didn't mention the handcuffs because they thought my wife didn't know it was going to happen -they thought I wanted to make it a surprise and they were going to 'play along' to keep it a surprise! During the ceremony, the Minister (who had never handles handcuffs) worked it into the sequence of the ceremony so smoothly you'd thing it was routine.

Throughout the whole process and with all our interactions with Wee Kirk staff, we always felt welcomed and never rushed. Entirely contrary to what we expected, nothing felt like a business transaction but completely like a personalized and extremely well-planned wedding gala.

We travelled from the UK to Vegas and chose the Wee Kirk to get married in on March 10th 2012 because of its cute exterior and long history; it's the oldest chapel on the strip. The Wee Kirk is relatively unknown compared to some of the bigger ??celebrity?? chapels on the strip however I personally believe it is the loveliest!

The staff were extremely helpful, especially as we only booked 3 days before our nuptials with everything sorted out with just a couple of emails, including an Elvis booking, bouquet and veil.
Having been to a friend??s wedding the week before at another chapel I personally feel the level of professionalism and organisation we received at the Wee Kirk was of a much higher standard, however still contained a fantastic level of fun!

The limo driver went out of his way to take us down to the sign for a couple of snapshots after we had tied the knot however the highlight was definitely our Elvis ceremony. He made our experience truly amazing, even if it did give us some strange wedding pictures as we were laughing so much throughout!! I DEFINITELY recommend having a genuine Vegas-style Elvis ceremony at the Wee Kirk, they aren??t lying when they claim he??s one of the best on the strip, he really is! I don??t want to give too much away and ruin the fantastic surprises he has in store for your special day but you won??t regret that extra $50 gratuity!

I would get married here again tomorrow, it was the most fun we have ever had and a complete bonus that it was our wedding day!

We were really happy with our Vegas marriage at the Wee Kirk; everything went smoothly starting with the easy planning. The whole staff is kind, professional and welcoming and eager to help with any wedding-related need; the chapel is quite cozy and adorned with fresh flowers and the Minister's vows were sweet and benevolent even if he had just met us a few minutes before. If you're into Elvis, theirs is truly fun!

They made everything very easy and we had three ceremonies all sorted and booked within a couple of emails - including dress hire, flowers, limo, photographer and Elvis!!
On the day they were super organised and everything went exactly as planned (apart from the windy weather!!). The guys are so good, everything was exactly as specified, on time and everyone we met was absolutely lovely and made our day extra special.
Huge thanks to everyone there and we will see you in another 5 years time!!

We were completely happy with our wedding experience. Only a few emails were required to plan every thing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The photographer was relaxed and really listened to what we were looking for. He took beautiful photos. We were married at the Weekirk in February 2012. Staff was great in helping me plan everything from ordering a cake, to getting people to come to my hotel room to do hair and makeup to having limo service the day of the ceremony. At the Weekirk, staff was great as well. The minister was polite and friendly, Elvis was AWESOME! The photographer was great as well. We ordered a webcam livestream of our wedding so friends and family could view it and it was very well received! We are so happy we chose the Weekirk and we would highly recommend it to others.

You could not ask for anything more when you pick this place for your wedding. You are treated like family from start to finish.These people treat you like you are the only wedding they are going to do. Beautiful touches with a quaint chapel wedding decorated with candles and flowers. So beautiful. The brides flowers and grooms boutanniere were so nice. They even have a camera near the brides changing room so she can see her guests and future husband.They accomadated 20 guests and made everyone feel so welcome. You have 1 hour instead of the standard Vegas 30 minutes for your wedding. Such a BIG plus. Lynn is the perfect coordinator,Shelby handling the guests and paperwork with perfection and Michael never stops the camera. His pictures are over the top. We feel so fortunate to have found this place for our kids to start their life together.

For my 20th Anniversary vow renewal these guys ROCKED IT. The staff was awesome, the place was right on the money with what I wanted (small, intimate, quaint), service was outstanding and the dueling Elvis team was FABOULOUS! Seriously, we LOVED the whole experience. The only thing that I might change would be some minor improvements on the Video but the overall experience was awesome and we could not have been happier! The Elvis team made this whole experience a dream come true - we laughed, we cried, we danced and we LOVED IT! Seriously, if you want something that is not stuffy, is a lot of laughs but has some really special moments, you've got to go with this team.

We celebrated our anniversary in Vegas and decided to renew our wedding vows Elvis style. After a lot of googling and reading reviews we decided on Wee Kirk. Since we're from Europe we did not really expect anything. All you hear about these chapels is that they are kind of like factories that rush through as many weddings as possible.
that may be so, but it was not the impression we got at Wee Kirk. The hostess took all the time to welcome us and tell us what the plans were. We felt very welcome and not rushed at all!
Elvis was excellent, you sure noticed he really enjoyed doing what he does, and he didn't take himself too serious either, joking along. The photographer was nice and unobtrusive too.
All in all our experience at Wee Kirk was excellent, we already promised we will be back for our next anniversary :-)

We can't say enough amazing things about the Wee Kirk. Planning a Las Vegas wedding from thousands of miles away in Ohio can be pretty intimidating. However, choosing Wee Kirk, took all the stress off our shoulders. We simply picked a package, then Lynn at Wee Kirk took over. She explained everything in detail and directly answered every concern and question we had. As a matter of fact, every Wee Kirk staff member we encountered was amazing. The chapel was absolutely darling. It had a lot of charm. Everything went down just as planned. Most importantly there were no ??hidden? charges.

If you are looking to getting married in Vegas or just renew your wedding vows, Wee Kirk is the place to choose. My husband and I renewed our vows on our 30th anniversary and the staff was so great. They arranged a nice ceremony and the photographer was fabulous. The photos were wonderful and he made us feel so at ease when shooting them. You couldn't ask for more with Wee Kirk. They can do just about anything you want with so many packages to choose from.

Our ceremony exceeded my every expectation; it was intimate and took place in a beautiful, timeless chapel performed by a minister. We chose Wee Kirk based on their reputation, affordability and ease in booking. Lynn was delightful to work with and she arranged everything we requested perfectly. We got married in the Wee Kirk on 11th June and it couldn't have been easier. The staff are lovely, we were a bit worried that something would be missed as we arranged it all via email from the UK, but everything was covered. The selection of weddings was great (we had Elvis who was a character(!), plus they ordered an extra limo for us as we had more guests than anticipated) .
Everyone loved it, the minister said some wonderful words and eveyone who works there is genuinely happy for you!
It really couldnt have gone any better. We would recommend it to anyone getting married in Vegas - if you want a ceremony in a charming chapel and want to be sure it's going to go well, speak to Lynn at the Wee Kirk.

We decided to get married in Las Vegas in June during our vacation. I had researched several chapels and Wee Kirk was our top choice due to its reputation, affordability and charm. They have a wide range of ceremony types and prices, one surely to meet your expectations and budget as well as lots of add-ons to truly customize your wedding. Lynn was able to schedule us within minutes for a service to take place within 3 hours of my call and her and the rest of the staff's courtesy and professionalism was top of the line. Lynn's attention to detail is unmatched (other than to my own - :-) and she made the entire experience stress-free! And she??s been very helpful in helping me get our picture order completed from across the country as we were leaving town before we could view them on-site. Our minister was delightful and spoke to our hearts, the photographer personable and able to get those perfect shots and the limo driver was very proficient in getting us there (thru rush hour traffic) in record time and back safely. The chapel is small and romantic, classy not kitschy and more than met our expectations. This isn't the place for large wedding parties due to its size but don??t let that deter you. If your wedding party is small and/or your guest list is short, please consider this chapel. There is a reason this chapel is the oldest in operation in town and this staff is why. Let them make your special day memorable too!!

When my husband and I decided to get married, we didn't want a ceremony that was too formal and stiff, where the guests couldn't enjoy themselves and celebrate with us, or where my husband and I couldn't have the loving fun we have in our everyday relationship -- So we took a chance on Wee Kirk O' the Heather Wedding Chapel. We were treated so special at Wee Kirk and had possibly the most fulfilling, yet the most fun and laughter-filled wedding ever.

We would recommend this chapel to anyone getting married.

THESE PEOPLE RUINED MY WEDDING. THEY DID NOT MAKE ANYTHING THEY WAY I WANTED IT. I WANTED MY WEDDING PARTY TO WALK DOWN IN PAIRS AND MY NOW HUSBAND TO WALK HIS MOM TO HER SEAT. THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE DONE THAT WAY. WELL IT DIDN'T HAPPEN AND i PAID TO HAVE OUR FIRST DANCE DONE ON OUR VIDEO. WELL THEY SCREWED UP THE MUSIC AND THEN WHEN WE GOT HOME OUR VIDEO HAD NO SOUND. THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN GET THAT BACK. JUST VERY UNEXCEPTABLE AND OUR PHOTOGRAPHER DID NOT CAPTURE THAT MANY PICS OF MY STEPDAUGHTER LIKE i TOLD HIM TO. AND THE MINISTER WAS SLEEPING IN THE NEXT ROOM AND MY AUNT HAD TO GET HIS BUTT IN THE CHAPEL. THEY WOULDNT EVEN GIVE US SOME OF OUR MONEY BACK.
