The Amsterdam Bar

Even though there is now a smoking ban, The Amsterdam Bar will always smell like stale cigarettes. This is part of its charm along with the colorful mismatched lanterns. The Amsterdam is sort of a bar meets coffee house.

This bar has a friendly environment. The drinks are good and you don't feel like you are being ripped off or under "poured"... They regulars and crowd seem to be laid back and all about having a good time without drama.

This is really a little gem of a bar. It feels more like a coffee shop with beer. No food that i know of, but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Digital jukebox will play anything you want. Good amount of space and a newly expanded "backyard."

This bar is located in the neat, alternative area of Exposition Park. The bar is kind of small, but has lots of charactor. Great bartenders. A jukebox with tons of selection, including trip-hop! The place is dimly lit for an ambient atmosphere. They also serve irish coffee, among other things!

PROS: 65 different beers. Drink Specials. Ashtrays. No cover.
CONS: None.
