I visit Hershey every summer multiple times. The roller coasters are all amazing and unique ( most being the first of their kind) and are tested multiple times a day. In my 39 times visiting the park I have only been stuck on one ride, which is not a bad thing because their rides are kept to such safety standards that a ride will stop even if one sensor reads something unusual and the rides are usually up within 5 minutes. The park is beautifully kept and through special events I have even been able to see all of the work that goes into cleaning it. Now as far as pricing it's typical amusement park price (about half of Disney World) and $8 for parking. There are ways to go cheap however...

1. Go to local stores for discount tickets.
2. Pack your own lunch. You can't bring food into the park but there are tons of gazebos outside of the park to eat in.
3. Go during the Hersheypark in the Dark, Christmas, and spring promotions. They cost 1/2 to 1/4 the $ and most rides are open.
4. Join the fan club. I have been emailed promotions from bogo to even a free day for the whole family.
5. Get a season pass, it pays for itself in 4 visits.
4.

Hershey park is an awesome park, but the lines are long and they always stop the rides to test them. The food there is great and there is always something to do.

Hershey Park is one of the best amusement parks I have ever been too. The staff really pays attention. The rides seem to be well maintained and the park is cleaner than most others. All in all it was a great experience.

We went to this park twice this year. Once was a business's special day. That day the park was so crowded the rides were next to impossible to get on. We went again when a local radio station had a free day. It was during a friday in June. It was the best time. The park opened at five am for this special event. There were next to no lines for the rides. All day long even after the bus fulls of children came the park didn't get that full. The wait for even the most popular rides wasn't over ten minutes. The employees were mostly friendly and great with children. The tickets are well worth a week day trip.

PROS: Safe and clean park
CONS: Somewhat expensive for a large family

Hershey park is great place to go on vacation as a family, a couple, or with a group of friends! It is only about an hours drive from Baltimore, and the drive is very scenic. The prices there are comprable to other area amusement parks, but the park is cleaner than others and offers moe. There are not only rides and food but also entertainment and shops! It's not as crowded as other parks and does not focus on getting cheap thrills, but offers many calm, low-key rides everyone can enjoy! The chocolate-factory is a must see for anyone who goes there! The Hershey theme is adorable and there thruely is something for everyone. This place makes a great day trip, but therei s enough to do that you could easily rent a hotel and make it a mini-vacation!

PROS: The chocolate factory, atmosphere, and Hershey Spa!

We really enjoy Hershey Park. We'll often go there and just walk around and see the sights and smell the chocolate wafting through the air. There's a lot to see and do there. It's a great family destination spot and I highly recommend it. We liked the factory tour. Caution: you will likely end up buying lots of chocolate before you leave this town. I haven't met anyone whose escaped without buying something. It's not a place to visit if you are on a diet!!

They have many exciting rollar coasters to offer, and they also have shows and other entertainment for guests who do not enjoy rides. There are several musical shows, as well as a dolphin show. Hershey Park offers many eateries from sit down dining to concessions sold throughout the park. It is a wonderful day of fun!

We have been here several times, and had a great time each time. There are many rides for adults and children, lots of food and games. The only bad thing about it is walking all the hills, wish it was a little flatter. Huge parking lot and easy to find.

Hershey park is a great place to go if you like roller coasters. They have some really terrific ones! They have lots of rides for small children too. There are good shows to see. The only downfall is the admission fee and the parking fee. It is not something the average(income-wise) family could do too many times in one summer.

Hershey Park is one of the greatest amusement parks around. Although they are expensive. But living in the area you can get coupons for money off, so then it's not too bad. They have tons of rides. We took our 2 children (2 and 3) there this past year and it took us the entire day just to get through the children's rides.

I've been going to hershey park since i was a little kid. The rides aren't exactly exhilirating, but it's more of a park for the whole family. It's not too rough for the elderly and not too scary for the little ones. The perfect family experience and you can't go wrong with some free candy after the tour ride.

Hershey Park is a nice, clean amusement park. I have been there several times and I always have tons of fun. They add new rides every year and they have a lot of awesome roller coasters. As with a lot of parks, the costs can be outragous. I think that the admission price could be lowered as well as the cost of food and drinks inside the park. They also should not charge for parking. The do however have ample parking with trams to carry you right to the park.

During the regular season, Hershey is a pretty standard amusement park, but I love visiting in December for Christmas in Hershey. You can go at night, everything is beautifully decorated in holiday lights, and, it's usually cold, so a lot less crowded! They have lots of great Christmas shows, and of course, the same great chocolate! Wonderful holiday experience. :o)

Hershey Park is great for families or adults who are coaster fans. While Hershey's coasters don't break records they will make any coaster fan happy. There are also tons of rides for kids and families making this a true family resort.

i have been to hershey park twice or thrice. i like that place for its rides. i always have fun whenever i go there. but the last time i went there a ride broke down. luckily no one was hurt, and the people working there took good care of the people who were in the ride. obviously me and my friends didn't sit in it and ofcourse they shut it down. it was just scary though.... overall its a nice place to hang out at and have fun at. accidents happen all the time.... but what is life without a little danger!!!!!! i had fun neverthless....

Every summer since I was a little girl I remember going to Hershey Park a couple of times every year. My family would go and spend the whole day as a family and have a blast. The amusement has a lot of rides and their are rides for every age from toddler to rides even the older members of the family can enjoy. The lines can be a little long from time to time but there are so many other things to do and see to keep the little ones occupied. The restaurants that Hershey Park has to offer for when your belly growls are also incredible, but do be prepared to pay a little extra. So basically, if your looking for a good time for the whole family head on over to Hershey Park and be prepared to have a memorable day with your family that you will never forget.

Hershey park truly is a sweet place. Not only is there food galore, much of it is chocolate. Many of the Hershey candy figures are walking around for pictures. The rides can keep you busy for days. If you like roller coasters, Hershey Park is definitely a place to keep you busy - they have added a couple in recent years. A wonderful park - make sure to take a trip to the Hershey chocolate ride.

This park is great! Lots of rides for Children and adults alike. There are many games and food stands also. Lots of charactors that are dressed up like Hershey's candy.

One thing I didn't care for was the $5 parking charge but I guess that's to be expected from a amusement park.

All year long they have great things to do. They have there wonderful amusement park in the spring and summer and at christmas they do a winter wonderland with lights and other stuff. My kids love going to hershey for all kinds of fun and different events that they have. It is mostly for kids to teens though and not as much for adults to do.

We went to Hershey Park every summer when I was growing up. However, that was when parking was free and you were able to bring your own picnic lunch to a special pavilion. Those were the days!

The last time I went (as an adult) I was shocked at the idea of having to PAY to park! I have no idea why they started charging, as this is the only attraction within walking distance. It is not like people are parking there and shopping at the local mall. In other words, I didn't think they needed to get that extra money from us.

Of course, then we hit the front gate and paid for the tickets, again $$$$$$. The food was terrible for the prices.

The good part = the rides are great, they had a new ride that everyone wanted to try. The water park was not too crowded, I think due to the new attractions, so we really spent our day in the water area.

Will I go again? Of course! But I will bring more cash and be prepared to give it away :)

Hershey's Park comes recommended by me but only because I think everyone should go at least once. But I was not impressed with it at all. The price was way too much, but I think you can get discounted tickets online. The ride wait time was way to long, and the staff was not friendly. The park was dirty, and for the 3 days we were there, it stayed that way. In fact, my son dropped a unique piece of paper, neon green with pink on it, that his friend gave him before we left. It had her name on it. I didn't know he dropped it until we were way from it. I did see it, but it was too far to go back and get. For the next three days, I saw the paper in the same exact place. I didn't pick it up because we decided to see if they ever cleaned the park.

The rides are good, and they are not chocolate-related. One of the rides is, but it didn't distract from the enjoyment of the ride. I thought they'd be more chocolate-related rides.

As with most theme parks, the prices here are over-the-top. Admission prices to Hershey are soaring with no end in sight, and the food has never been cheap. Look for coupons at local businesses to save you some $.

The park is large and has various coasters, water rides and even a zoo.

Plenty of parking.

My family visited Hershey Park this summer. We had a good time. The park is not nearly as nice and well maintained as Disney or Universal Studios. However, they have a nice selection of roller coasters and Hershey World next door is fun. We were able to get discounted tickets online.

Hershey Park is the ultimate amusement park for the chocolate lover to go to. Of course they are a part of the Hershey empire. When you go there, not only do you get to ride fun rides, but you can learn about the chocolate making process, and of course you have to get some chocolate while youre there. Its fun for kids, but also fun for adults, since what adult doesnt like chocolate?

PROS: Great fun

Hershey Park is a must for any family at least one time in the summer. Water rides, roller coasters and kiddie rides. Park has hills and can be a great strain for people to get around on hot days. Recommend getting your tickets before going to the park as this can save you money. Can get very expensive. Be prepared to pay a high fee to park in their lot. Meal ticket is also a savings.

PROS:
CONS: Can be very expensive for a large family

Great place to spend the day with the family. Clean park fun rides good food and more chocolate then you can eat in a lifetime. What else could you ask for. The staff was friendly and eager to help. I felt safer here then at other amusement parks. You still have the long lines but the people were friendlier so you did not mind the wait. Cheaper then other parks too. You can go after 7 and then all the next day on the same ticket.

No summer in Pennsylvania is complete without the annual pilgrimage to Hershey Park in Hershey, PA. Located in Chocolate Town, USA, Hershey Park offers amusements for all ages! From death-defying roller coasters to the restored carousel at the heart of the park, there's sure to be something please all ages! Hershey continues to add to new attractions each year in an effort to continue attracting the crowds. However, it wouldn't hurt Hershey to spend a little of their new attraction development money on training their employees in the art of customer service, AND in the art of keeping the park clean and well maintained. For the steep price of admission, it's not out of line to expect excellent customer service and cleanliness. Overall a good family outing if you can deal with sometimes surly employees and the occasional grubby bathroom.

PROS: They always have new and exciting attractions...
CONS: Prices are steep, poor customer service, dirty at times...

This is such a sweet park for the family. They have rides and also a zoo that's included in the admission. There is also Chocolate World where you can go through a tour of a Hershey Factory and watch how candy is made and distributed. This is a ride. Not the actual tour itself or the chocolate would be contaminated. You also get a free chocolate bar at the end of the ride. Our kids have us ride this over and over again for the free candy.

We have come here so many times before we had our son. There is a wonderful ride that walks you through how Hersheys started and how they make the chocolate. The ride ends and you walk out into a huge market for chocolate. The rides are great and are not chocolate related. Except for the large hershey kiss that takes you high up so you can see the lay of the land. This place gets better and better each year.

With more than 60 rides and attrations to sample, there's little time to stop. We enjoyed the Tidal Force and found out why people changed into their swim-suits before getting in line. We were DRENCHED and it took hours to dry off. The park also has 10 roller coasters and there's likely one to fit everyone's taste. This park has charm and the Hershey theme is carried thru-out the entire facility. It's a great family vacation location!
