With 6+ parks, community rooms, nature trails, the rail to trail network, aquatic center, programmed events and activities for all ages for residents of West Bloomfield and those in surrounding communities there is truely something for everyone. WBPR offers special events like camp-in/camp-out, egg hunts, daddy-daughter dance, and special activites for folks ages 55+, swim lessons and water excersize all year around, theraputic recreation for special needs folks, fitness programs, nature programs, camps, soccer and softball leagues, as well as a outdoor public pool in the summer, farmers market, off-leash dog park-for residents, and rooms to rent. They also offer discount tickets to amusment parks, water parks, zoo and more. They have free ticket vouchers courtousy of the Palace for DTE, Meadowbrook, and some Palace events.
