My dad collects old fashioned toys to put in his office. They have a ton of those and old fashioned games. It is just a neat little store. It is a pretty small store but there is a lot in it.

This shop is a fun trip back in time to my childhood. I happened to be passing through town when I noticed the shop and stopped in. They had all the great stuff that I owned an loved as a child. Spirograph, Playdough, Etch A Sketch, and more. It was a blast seeing all these great toys that I used to love. The only downside, is that even though I left the store feeling great...I did end up feeling a bit old!
PROS: friendly staff and fun products
CONS: none.

The Toy Dept. is a great store to find all kinds of toys. This isn't your typical Toys R Us store; you'll find all kinds of different and rare and vintage toys here as well. You can feel like a kid in this store and if you are a kid then you'll definitely feel at home in this store. The prices are decent for what you find.

This toy store is so cool! I really enjoyed coming here. They had all these great toys that I had when I was a child. The employees here are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this toy store for adults and children. I had no problem finding parking here.

I just found this place a week ago. I was driving down Colorado Blvd. and out of the corner of my eye I saw the word 'toy.' I told my husband to stop the car so we could investigate---after all, who doesn't like toys? I am so glad we stopped! This is a toy store AND a trip down memory lane. You see, this store carries 90% vintage toys and candies! Erector sets, GI Joe, Rock-em Sock-em Robots, the Cootie game, little plastic farm animals, pop rocks, chick-o-sticks the wind-up monkey toy that bangs the cymbals---you name it. My husband and I ended up swapping childhood stories with each other that we had never shared before. It was great. The co-owner 'Uncle Dave' happened to be there and he was as excited about the toys as we were. He kept riding around on this 'pedal-free' tricycle-type vehicle and showing off the wares. He was very enthusiastic and helpful! Oh, did I mention that the store is authentically 'vintage' right down to the paint color on the walls, the 'office' sign on the back door, and even Uncle Dave's haircut, clothing and horn-rimmed glasses? It's just so much fun! And besides where else can you get a rhinestone inlaid limited edition tournament yoyo?
PROS: Merchandise is spectacular. Staff is phenomenal.
CONS: You have to walk in a few steps past the plush toys to the vintage wares
