NOT recommended. They lie. Booked a trip, never received confirmation. Attempted to cancel when it came up on my calendar and they said no. Tried to reverse charges on Amex, and Clipper Vacations gave Amex phony paperwork saying the email

Save your money!!! This is the WORST company to deal with! VERY rude customer service. If they make an error they will REFUSE to fix it and blame you for it so BUYER beware!!!!!!!! Made reservations right after purchasing a deal. I called to find out about adding another child passenger to our fare and was told that our reservation could not be found... Then they mentioned that the deal that I purchased had to be booked 2 days prior to my calling and so they could not honor the promotion anymore and so sorry, but I could use the promotional purchased price amount toward another booking of something.WHAT!!!!! If I wanted to do that then I wouldn't have purchased the promotional package!!!! They have the same deal going on currently for $16 more then what I payed and they still REFUSE to make this right. I refuse to pay more for something that I already paid for and booked! Extremely POOR Customer service to blame your customers for something that one of your employees did!!!! I would gladly pay DOUBLE the amount to go with another company then to give this company one cent more!

The clipper will cancel their sailings if there is wind. Do NOT use unless you like to be stranded. They do offer an alternative that involves a 7.5 hour bus ride.

The trip up to Victoria was amazing. Great boat staff and accomidation. The packages are good lots to do and see. Our trip home not so much or boat canceled do to weather windy. theyscrambled to get us back home. We had to load up on a shuttle bus drive around the block which we could have walked the fifty or so feet to the coho ferry. Then unload luggage and go thru customs. The coho was very dated and slow. Then go thru customs again in port angelous which is so far away from our destination of seattle. Where we sat on old uncomfortable bus. I believe I paid for a luxury ride quick comfy and got crappy and stinks. Not to men ition the lady at clipper check in counter in Victoria was rude and ter rible.they should be more prepared for weather delays and willing to give option to those for us paying for a great vacation. our second day was ruined by hurry up and wait hurry hurry stand in line hurry hurry stand in wait very aggravating.

I returned from Victoria last Saturday on the Victoria Clipper and it was a beautiful sunny day, the water was calm and the setting perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive and the duty free shop really cheap compared to the ones at the Airport.
The only way to travel between Seattle and Victoria BC

I had an awesome Victoria vacation courtesy of clipper vacations. I booked online which was a cake and couldn't wait to set sail. The departure was smooth, with friendly staff and the boat was just right. Luckly the weather was nice so my window seat displayed an array of beauty. I can't wait for my next trip! Thanks Clipper

Pros: easy ticketing, on-time, good staff

Cons: non-ideal travel time

A great way to get to Victoria. This ship boards in Seattle and gets you to Victoria in about 2 hours. The boat is comfortable though fairly small. If you get motion sick be sure to grab a package of Dramamine that they hand out complimentary during boarding. This is by far the most efficient way to get to Victoria, would take more than twice as long by car from Seattle. The only downside is that this is a passenger ferry. Therefore you are without car once you get to Victoria. Not a problem unless you are planning to leave the city (Victoria is very walk able).

The staff was friendly and the ride wasn't too bad. I get motion sickness pretty easy but I didn't have a problem when I rode the clipper for 2 reasons. 1) We sat in the middle (less motion) 2) they also sell Dramemine, took one just in case.

Victoria was and is such a beautiful place. The people are so nice and friendly and the views are just breathtaking. Definitely get an overnight or two package with the clipper and you will have a great time!

Clipper Vacations operates the Victoria Clipper, a quick way to get to the San Juan Islands or to Victoria. They offer complete vacation packages that are reasonably priced. They also offer tours to other locations throughout Washington and British Columbia. The staff is friendly and knowlegable.
