Best place in town to get any kind and every kind of fresh flowers at really cheap prices! Whether you're making floral arrangements for a wedding, party or special event, or even if you're just feeling creative and want to spend the day working with flowers, this is the place to go to for inspiration. This flower market is open to the public at 8am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and at 6am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (check their website for updates on business hours). It's $2 per entry and you can stay for as long as you want. There are two sections to this market - also it's indoors with air conditioning. I suggest going as early as you can as some vendors actually start putting their stock away as early as 9am.

I also suggest that you have an idea of what you might want to get if you already have specific project ideas. It's easy to stray away from what you originally came for as you stroll along the rows and rows of beautiful flowers. Great place to find exotic plants as well. Another tip - bring a big shopping bag to hold all your flowers, they only wrap them up in newspapers and don't put them in bags.

Generally the prices here are at least a third, if not half off of grocery store prices. I bought about $80 worth of flowers and made 5 different floral arrangements. Forget about going to the florist! It's much more fun and creative to put something together for a friend or family.
