I ate at Cabin Sushi with some friends for lunch. The all-you-can-eat sushi lunch price was unbeatable. The usual rolls were included in the menu. I enjoyed the baked rolls like the volcano and the pizza, and I got the usual (caterpillar and rainbow, among others). I was surprised that there was a quail egg shooter on the menu; it wasn't as bad as I expected. The restaurant itself is small, so the staff provides great, personal service. The location is in the heart of downtown, so its easy to get to, but the parking is a bit more of a challenge.

After my second time seeing them scramble around like chickens with their heads cut off when the health inspector showed up, I have decided I have eaten my last meal here. The sushi is only fair, and there are simply better places in Riverside.

Pros: cheap

Cons: bacteria ?

Parking in front & behind is limited. But more than enough parking across the street or on 10th street.
Great portions of Sushi, & rolls. Great tasting food. You can still get Chicken Teriyaki, Tempura, Calimari, salad, soup, along with your All you can eat Sushi. Nice long Sushi bar seating. Plus a lot of tables to handle a lot of customers all at once.

Cabin sushi is still one of my favorite places to go for sushi. They have good quality sushi and other items for one great price. I know there are a lot of all you can eat places that have horrible food - this is not one of them. The sushi is not the best I have had, but it is by far the best sushi i have had without going broke. The owner and all the chefs are very kind and sociable. Not in the best part of town, and the ambiance is not very high, but the food is the important part ... right?

Cabin Sushi is my favorite place to get all you can eat sushi. For about twenty bucks (or sixteen for lunch) you get all you can eat sushi and eat your money's worth within 15 minutes. Included in the deal is also appetizers such as calamari, teriyaki chicken, tempura etc.

I highly disagree with the comment left two comments below, the sushi is packed with what you ordered aside from other restaurants that pile on the rice instead of the sashimi.

An awesome treat you MUST try is their volcano roll!!

This is a great sushi place with a great atmosphere! After you eat your meal the whole staff gives you a hug when exiting the restaurant. I highly recommend this sushi.

Or rather, don't fall for their all-you-can-eat special. It looks like a deal, at less than 20 bucks for two hours of all the sushi you can eat, but it's not at all. All of the rolls are filled with shredded crab, no matter what kind of roll they are - and the parts that are supposed to be fillings are sparsely placed on the outside. The sushi isn't bad if you like shredded crab, but you'll get full just as quickly and probably spend less money just ordering individual sushi.

The crab-meat-filling trick isn't mentioned anywhere on the details about the special.
