SHOCKED!!!!! I am shocked and appalled at the same time, that anyone would give anything under a four star for this facility!? For one thing, If you can't afford to care for your animal you have no business having one! Animals are very much like children (only cheaper) in many ways! They require maintenance! First shots, good diet and exercise, discipline and love. I have no doubt anything less than four stars is this facility being confused with the Sunnymead Veterinary CLINIC across the street, that facility shares the same name and the doctor across the street Dr.Park is in no way any comparison to Dr Huang, or ANY of the doctors at the SUNNYMEAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Two things any smart consumer should know.
1) Hospital and CLINIC- Is like the difference between using a power tool and a screwdriver!?
2) DO YOUR RESEARCH-Before researching the Inland Empire magazine for the top ratings! I made the mistake of going across the street to the Sunnymead Animal CLINIC to see Dr.Park, what I witnessed was nothing short of barbaric! Its a visual I had hoped to forget! Sure the prices might be better!? I didn't stay long enough to find out! but how sterile is it? I sat with my husband and witnessed thirteen dogs "THIRTEEN" All laid out on the floor, and all pointed in the same direction with an industrial fan on them, as I peeked out to see where this Doctor (If you could call him that) was, I peered around the corner and witnessed a technician handing a puppy to the vet in mid air, legs wide open and the effects of the anesthesia just kicking in! I couldn't watch past the the scalpel and just couldn't believe what I had just witnessed, I went back in the room and sat with my husband, as we sat there waiting some of those puppies laid out on that floor started waking up, crying and confused, not one staff member reached down to comfort them! they had no problems stepping over them though to get a quick vaccine loaded though!
So if it's high cost that bother you and you don't care how your animal is treated,,,,,,,by all means go to The SUNNYMEAD ANIMAL CLINIC across the street in that little mini building, nothing like introducing your new puppy/child to nothing but pain and horror!!!

SUNNYMEAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL- Is hands down the best I've seen! From Orange County to Riverside County!!! The vets are what any true animal lover seeks in finding Top Notch! And the staff is simply like a breath of fresh air! They each have such Wonderful people skills in making sure your every need is tended to, if the doctors not available they will make sure they contact you at their earliest convince, They are knowledgable, educated and a pleasure doing business with.
I do my research on everything,I'm the definition of consumer reports putting it lightly, weather it's buying the best power tool or looking for the best Dentist! I USE COMMON SENSE and find the best there is out there, That's how I found my family physician of over twenty plus years,my outstanding Dentist, etc...
I make wise decisions and do my research, when in doubt I look in The Inland Empire magazine! If I want top rate and care if a non sterile instrument is being used on my precious family member by paying the extra ten bucks, to me it's ALWAYS worth it! sometimes it's even less, check it out and do the RESEARCH yourself, and you will find The Sunnymead animal hospitals rates are beyond VERY good.
I travel a long way too to see our vet Dr. Huang, not because I share the same interest, or we both like the color green or we come from the same country! I travel the distance because he has come that distance for my animals every time they've needed THE BEST CARE! He is young and continues to educate himself as with most the staff their, that's important to me that I trust His Professional opinion and any other Doctors at that facility!

I truly miss Dr Martha Eaton, I had been taking my pets there since 1997, what I loved most about her and Dr Smith was their willingness to look outside the Medical/Veterinary box into practicing Holistic vet care. They combined the two and did an awesome job for those of us who wanted to go that route. They also did chiropractic adjustments on my dogs. No one can ever come close to what they offered their patients, their prices were very low, you could tell that the animals they treated were their #1 concern and not the $$.
I do still go to this office when my pets need treatment, but they don't offer what I was used to getting here, the staff is nice and so are the vets, prices are still lower than most in the area. Spays & Nueters are very reasonably priced, which is nice for me because I live in a rural area where people dump their animals all the time and for some reason they come to my house and I end up keeping them. I have noticed that since their appt only rule went into effect that the place doesn't seem that busy anymore.

I took my two kittens here for their first check up. Our appointment was at 10:20 but they asked us to be there at 10:00. We showed up at 9:55 just to be safe. We were put into a room at 10:50 and waited there until 11:45 before the vet finally came in. We did not get out of the office until 12:15. We missed our lunch plans and should have been out of there long before noon. Twice during that time I asked the receptionists if they could tell us what was going on. The first time, the blond receptionist said she would ask but then never came back. The second time she said she would ask again, and still didn't come back. When I finally confronted her saying that we had been there for over an hour she suggested that we leave. I asked once more what was taking so long and she slammed the office door in my face. When the vet finally came in she apologized and explained that the other two vets had called in sick and she was there alone. With that explanation, the wait was understandable and she was very good with the cats. I just don't understand why the receptionists were so resistant to explaining the situation and why they didn't let us know right away that there would be a wait. We could have called and changed our lunch plans if we had known in advance. It was a miserable experience and we will not be going back there.

I have always found the receptionists very helpful and sweet( all but maybe one). They have always gone out of their way to help me, especially when my dog was put down. The short, dark haired lady could not have been kinder. In most offices the receptionists don't make the rules about seeing patients or about the cost of things. Get off their backs.

The doctors are great, they know what they are doing, the reason for the 3 stars is because they only see you by appointment only, if you miss your appointment by as much as 5 minutes they treat you like a criminal/ bad and make you wait until they can squeeze you in. the staff they have there are rude. Not all of the staff are rude its mostly 4 of them, they always have an attitude when you have questions about anything mostly when you ask them about the cost and why are they charging you for something that THEY said was not going to cost anything. I love the work that the doctors do. I have taken my 3 cats there and do not have a complain about them. The receptionist are supposed to tell you the amount you are going to have to pay PRIOR to any procedure, which they do not do and get mad when you do not have all of the money. I have now relocated and will not take my animals back to this clinic.

Well, Dr. Martha Eaton has retired. People came from all over So. California and even from out of state to have their animals seen by her (professional breeders etc.). Dr. Eaton bought the practice of another local vet in the late 80's/early 90's but it was she who grew it into the phenomenal business it eventually became. Dr, Eaton later purchased and renovated the building where the hospital now resides. Even though she was highly sought after, her prices were low. Loved the walk-in aspect but wait time was very lengthy, a couple of hours at least, and usually more. Anyone who knew Dr. Eaton did not mind the wait.

Some of Dr. Eaton's staff were friendly and some were not. I think maybe they were always too busy for pleasantries. I believe the same staff works for the new owner. Maybe they are not too busy now.

I have seen Dr. Ontiveros once, right after she bought Dr. Eaton's practice. She was as sweet as can be and I was pleased with her work. My daughter saw her once and really liked her as well. (which is saying a lot!) At the time Dr. Eaton was staying on and all the changes that have occurred had not yet taken place.

All of my friends who previously had Dr. Eaton for their vet have now gone elsewhere. Besides Dr. Eaton's absence, another factor in their decision is due to the increase in cost. They also mourn the advantage of the walk-in and there is nothing to keep them going now. I hope that all of Dr. Eaton's hard work does not end up as a failed business due to the new ownership.

I wish Dr. Ontiveros well and the other vets she has hired to work along side her. I am hoping that as time goes by, notice will be taken of the decrease in their clientele and some things will be once again changed.

Moreno Valley is not a high-end kind of place. People here really appreciated the affordable prices Dr. Eaton charged. I don't expect anyone to give away their services, I just find myself tonight questioning whether or not I can afford to have my cat looked at and am longing for the good old days.

This place used to be great, but there is a new doctor and management, and it has changed. I took my dog in for teeth cleaning, and they were not up front or realistic about the cost or procedure. They removed almost all of my dogs teeth! Since then I have checked with other places, and it was absolutely not necessary. Not only is it too late for my dog, because the teeth were removed without calling me, but the cost was triple what I was told. BE CAREFUL and call several vets to see if what they tell you is accurate. The doctor was very patronizing to me, too. I didn't have enough money with me. I had to leave the dog and go get the money in order for them to give me the dog.
Find a place you can trust!

Yes, Martha retired but there are 3 really good vets there still. The office has changed from walk-in to appointments, which is a lot easier for me with less waiting time. I especially like Dr. Han; he has a great sense of humor and compassion and truly cares for the animal and the owner. They don't stick it to you financially like some vet hospitals, but try to work with you if you need the help. I like the staff there and I very much trust the doctors.

My family has gone to Martha (as we affectionately call her) for countless years. We live on an acre and have had numerous pets pass through her office. We have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and it is pretty much always busy because of the great service. Whenever a beloved pet was put down, she genuinely felt for us. We have even received condolence cards signed by the staff afterwards. Unfortunately, I heard that Martha is retiring. What a loss to this community. No one can replace her!
