Average mexmerican fare with an uninspired $8.50 weekday lunch buffet. Drinks are NOT included and pepsi costs $2.79 so by the time you're done with soda and tax you'll be paying $12.27 -- with a cheap tip it quickly becomes $14 for lunch ...noted.

I went on a Tuesday at 12:30 to find a few bins empty with steaming water, or semi-empty with tough looking leftover food scraps. Stay away from the chicken fajita whatevers- it dries out under the heat lamps and steam baths.

The good stuff are the pork carnitas with warm fresh tortillas (as good as you'll find anywhere)--mmmmm delicious! The fresh beans, pork adobo and corn bread are also good choices. Fresh but lackluster enchilladas finally appeared near the end. I guess the dessert was a basket of cinimon chips.

The restaurant itself was comfortable, cool, calm, and nearly clean. The staff was friendly and kept my nearly $3 coke filled nearly most of the time. Probably a good place for business lunch when discussion needs to trump the food, and the boss picks up the tab!

I don't think this is the best Mexican restaurant in Moreno Valley by any means, but it isn't bad. They do a pretty good Sunday brunch for under $15 per person, which is usually when I go. It's worth going in for that.

Acapulco is a great place to go especially during happy hour. The staff there are warm and friendly and very prompt about getting food served in a timely manner.
