Lowe's is awesome!!(lol) : ) I just simply love Lowe's (ha ha). Can't live without it! My house loves lowe's products! Better than home depot!! Prices cheaper! What happened to Builder's Square? Hugh M. Woods? and Home base? why not bring in Menard's (who cares?)

On the morning of July 4, I went to Lowes (1701 S. Havana) to purchase paint and accessories. The employee, a young woman, at the paint department was not busy. When I asked her for a recommendation of a good primer, she became irritated, pointed up an aisle and said, "Over there." Later, I asked her to show me where something was. She flew into a tantrum and started to stomp up the aisle. So much for customer service. (Actually, I don't believe that employees at retail stores are there to wait on me hand-and-foot, however, if I am courteous, I expect the same in return.) I decided never to go back to that store. Last time I bought paint, I went to Builders Emporium in Aurora. Although they were relatively busy, when I asked for a particular type of paint, the employee graciously said, "One moment and I'll get it for you." What can I say except I'll be going back to Builders Emporium and avoiding Lowes (although Builders Emporium is a few miles further away for me).
