My friend owns this supermarket. THey always have fresh seafood and very fresh vegetables. The parking lot is pretty small. You have to park your car in the street if you want to go grocery shopping here.

I dont like this place at all. Whenever my parents drag me here, i end up staying in the car or standing near the door where it is less crowded and fresh air. On the other side though, my parents seem to like this place, going here every other week. They say they have good deals here on poultry and fruits. I would recommend this place to someone if they dont mind the smell, but otherwise, don't bother, because the parking lot is also crowded.

this is a small asian supermarket in down town san jose, very near san jose state university. on the weekends, it is very crowded, but on the upside, their prices are very reasonable especially their mangos, during mango season.

This asian supermarket is smaller than ranch 99 and some other asian supermarket. It offers variety of cheap groceries. However, this place is small and doesn'e smell good. Besides, it is crowded and difficult to park. Therefore, I only go there when I happened to pass by. If I have choice, I still will go to ranch 99 or lion.

PROS: Cheap
CONS: Smell bad and crowded

This place is like the ghetto of all asian supermarkets. Its small, parking sucks, it smells, and inside and outside the store, it is ery crowded. I guess its a good sign that it is crowded because it means that they are at least selling cheap (or somewhat) cheap stuff (reason for not giving them lower than 3 stars). All in all, if you go here know exactly what you want to get, get it asap, pay for it of course, and leave. or else you are going to get stuck in the crowd or smell like poultry.

This is an Asian market, so don't expect it to be spotless. Dai Thanh is pretty clean for an Asian market and it has a variety of foods to choose from. They have French candy that is cheaper than any place and good/fresh fruit. I like it when they decorate for the Lunar New Year's because it's pretty and festive and it makes you feel like you're somewhere authentic. The staff is there to ring you up, but not help you, that's the only drawback to most Asian markets so don't expect them to provide great customer service.

Pros: variety, semi-clean
