BBQ has really good food, but it takes forever to get served. They have one of the cheapest and best breakfasts in town, but they only serve it when they feel like it. The service is very unpredictable, but I would still go back because the food is that good.

We had their beef ribs and smoked turkey. My only complaint is that the ribs were a teeny bit tough, but flavor, WOW! Such delicious flavor, everyone needs to try. I saw the cook making a 1lb. burger. It was HUGE. This is a really authentic Texas style joint complete with baked beans, old fashioned mac 'n cheese and greens. The eat in area is nothing fancy but the kitchen looked very clean. The ribs were pretty pricy, about eighteen dollars for a slab (7 or 8 ribs). I'll try the baby back next time to see if they are more tender than the straight beef. Oh, and try them 'spicy' style. Just the right combo of sweet and hot. Delicious!
PROS: Great BBQ, Deliveries and Take-Out Available
CONS: Slightly Pricy, Takes A While, so call ahead if you can

Barbeque King has the best barbeque meats in L.A. We like to get the mixed grill -- ribs, sliced meat, hot dogs, etc. and take it home when we have company. Their prices are pretty reasonable. Their baked beans and potatoe salad are great, too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
PROS: Best tasting barbeque meat in Los Angeles
CONS: none
