Pros: Open late, peach iced tea, Irish accent-waitress

Cons: I forgot to order pie

This is a great place for breakfast. Judging by the crowd, I'm not the only one that feels that way. I had a fantastic order of french toast - and I'm not the big of a breakfast fan! They also make some pretty good cookies for snacks too.

I've visited twice so far: once when my father visited, and again when both my parents were out for a visit. Max's has a huge selection of sandwiches which, having been to many a NY deli, are just as good as its east-coast counterparts.

We ate there twice. We enjoyed the food both times. The first time they weren't as busy as the 2nd. Luckily we just wanted to order "take-out" the last time. It was before the theater and people were being turned away. This was recommended

Outstanding food in abundance--great for sharing. Can be noisy when crowded--and frequently is. Great place to be sung 'Happy Birthday' to by the waitstaff.

Meals at Max's are served in excess, so be prepared to bring a doggie bag home for Fido. Food is generally good and filling.
