5 Stars: what fun (by shawn m.)

What fun!!! The family can enjoy the skiing and when it gets too cold, you can enjoy the beautiful lodge. The place is well maintained and the staff is super friendly. The rentals are always in great condition also.

5 Stars: WPA classic (by Suzy O.)

A friend told us we HAVE to stay here while visiting Portland. I was nervous about the price but have to say it well worth the expense. You can swim in an outdoor heated pool at the foot of Mt. Hood. Enjoy all the incredible artisan details of the place - WPA everything. Everyone should stay here once.

5 Stars: Five stars is not enough (by Ken C.)

Do you enjoy staying in historic lodges? This is truly one of the best. You will not find architectural details and construction like this anywhere today. Beauty inside and outside the lodge is beyond compare. Food is fantastic, and most of the help is very courteous. This will fit your idea of a quaint old ski lodge perfectly. Why can't Colorado do something like this?

5 Stars: For a romp in the snow this is the place to go (by Colleen K.)

For a romp in the snow this is the place to go. They offer ski and snowboarding lessons for all ages. The lodge itself is warm and inviting, with big fireplaces and a great relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are small and so cozy with feather beds. They have a year round outdoor heated pool that is so much fun to be swimming in on a cold winters night with the snow coming down. There is so much to see at the lodge it is truly a history lesson. From hand crafted wood furniture to beautiful stained glass, mosaics, murals and paintings all originals. Spend the day, weekend, or make it your family vacation destination you will have a wonderful time and don't forget to bring your camera.

PROS: Rustic old lodge feel, outdoor heated pool
CONS:
