Trading Places is a knock-out of a store. I have been to other consignment stores and found that Trading Places stands out from the rest. I consigned a sofa and was so pleased with the process and the staff was extremely friendly. I am also regular customer that checks out the latest deliveries. The store always looks wonderful with the great displays and the staff is always courteous. I recommend this store (3 locations and I heard a 4th in Nampa) to anyone who wants a positive new experience.

PROS: Great prices, wonderful atmosphere and staff
CONS: Wish all stores were right next to each other so I could visit in one trip!

While the selection is better someday than others the quality seems to be pretty good on most items however, the prices seem a little steep for used merchandise. These definately aren't garage sale prices. Think more discount store prices. If you shop often and wait for an item to get marked down you may get lucky.

not as good of a store as it sounds. the prices are high, and the staff can be unpleasant to deal with.
still, you can find some nice pieces, and it is cheaper than going to a new furniture store.

Trading Places is located on Broadway, kinda out of the way for the most part of Boise but still easily accessible.
Their prices are high for used furniture and when I went in they did not have a good selection of 'current' furniture, a lot of it was just old stuff, not antiques, just old. Tons of other and better places to go in the surrounding Boise area.

The Broadway location is in the old Pinon Square. Nice store, helpful friendly staff. Prices can be a little high but customers can make offers. They were not willing to list a piece of furniture at the price I wanted to sell it for, so I took it to Renewal, and not only were they more than happy to list it at that price, it sold quickly.

PROS: easy to get to, lots of parking
CONS: prices can be high
