My partner and I moved to Milwaukie a couple years ago from Beaverton. Trying to find a good regular Thai restaurant to frequent can be difficult, but Thai Mango has been a favorite of ours for quite some time. My favorites include the Mongolian Beef, salad rolls, and any of the curries. For dessert, the Purple Rice is fantastic. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I'm generally not cruel, and I'd like everyone's businesses to succeed, but my one visit to thai mango will most definitely be my last. I just moved to the neighborhood and was getting a bearing on the thai options, so I started with the most basic possible standard: pad thai. I was excited to have found a place that did a mixed vegetable pad thai- the normal plainess of pad thai can be pretty boring. Again, not to be cruel, but it almost wasn't edible. There was about a centimeter of liquid at the bottom of the plate, just made everything horribly pucker sour. Maybe this is some super-legit, real-deal way of making pad thai or something, but I'm not a fan. I only took a to-go box to be polite, and I regretted that when it leaked all over my backpack, which I can't really fault them for, but it sucked anyway.

Cons: Was genuinely bad.

My husband found this joint. It is a welcome escape from the ho-hum Thai places one finds often. Quality meat, fresh veggies. Prices aren't bad.

This will be our new Thai stop.

There were about three other couples here when we showed up at 2PM on a Sunday. Service was very quick and we all know how expensive food can be these days but their prices were okay. I had the Tom Kha and my boyfriend had the Yellow Curry. Our were both too rich, they tasted like they were smothered in butter! The Tom Kha had what looked like over-cooked grey chicken, onions and some seasonings but no vegetables, tomatoes, nothing. My boyfriends yellow curry was mostly potatoes. Won't go here again.

I eat here often and have yet to be disappointed. The Pad Thai (which is usually the deciding factor for me if it's a good Thai place or not) is good along with everything else I've tried. The service is friendly and they're quick to have take out orders ready.

Good food! If you call it in it is always ready for pick up when you get there. Jasmin combo rice is great, and it had uniquie combinations of flavors. Restuant is pretty mellow.

Liked the air conditioning, decor, server personality. But some of the vegetables in my take-out panang curry tasted like stale refrigerator, and the sauce featured an extra layer of unpleasant grease (palm oil?).

Maybe the cook or the freezer was having an off day. (It's the second day of 100? heat, and the restaurant was empty.) Still, next time I'll go back to Thai Lahnna, where the take-out red curry with tofu was top-notch, and its packaging more eco-friendly.

This is my favorite restaurant for thai food. It's cute, quiet inside, prompt seating/service, and most important of all -- the food is so flavorful & overall delicious! I can enjoy thai food at other restaurants, but I just don't think it compares to Thai Mango. Prices are reasonable as well. (If you are debating between Thai Mango & Papaya Thai, the ONLY advantage to choosing Papaya Thai is that it's cheaper).

With my Thai background I know what great Thai food tastes like because that's what I grew up with. The ambiance of Thai Mango is wonderful. The people are great and will cater to you however they can. What I love most about Thai Mango is their fried rice--I've tried all kinds and from many other Thai restaurants, however, I always return for Thai Mango's fried rice. I even got my co-workers drooling for that, too!

Great food combined with great prices. Went there last week for a business meeting. Everyone loved the food and service and were surprised at the low the bill was. Great addition to the district.

We were so glad to be able to move on from the Thai House Restaurant with the same people. This food is just as good as any we have had in Thailand, and it is consistently good, hot, prompt, and we love the service. We'll return again and again.

I know my Thai, and this is one of Portland's best - by far! Great food, great service, and excellent atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the Black Pepper & Garlic Pork, Hor Mok Seafood is fresh and full of delicate seafood flavors. The Gai Yang broiled chicken was moist, tender and flavorful. No room for dessert this time.......maybe next!

Eager to welcome a new restaurant to a neighborhood known for having a plethora of casual, cozy and tasty eateries, my husband and I tried to like Thai Mango. Really, we did. We want restaurants to come to our neighborhood and flourish! However, after 3 visits during which we sampled 6 different entrees and 4 different appetizers, we found ourselves saying, "where did our money go?". It's a shame, but after giving Thai Mango three tries and about $90 we're glad that Sellwood is not lacking in restaurants, especially Thai (next time we'll go to Sweet Basil Thai for an elegant dinner or Papaya Thai for a dinner that's easy on the wallet).

Wow, I have been searching for real Thai food, and I have to say this is the closest thing to traveling to Bangkok. The food was fresh and met mey expectations of authentic thai. The black pepper and garlic chicken and sizzling seafood dishes were exceptional. They offer mango with sweet rice for desert, yummy. Overall, the prices are a great bargain. Highly Recommend!

My wife and I tried it three times and each time the food was salted beyond any acceptable limit. Also, I asked for my food to be "extra hot" and they just dumped pepper flakes on it.
