I still work at Market of choice. I am nineteen and have full benefits. How many of you can say that? I love the people I work with. I have honestly wanted to work at Market of Choice since I was about nine years old when the first Market of Choice was in Cottage Grove. Everyone looked so happy and had fun and you know what? They still do. Yes people do have bad days, but a lot of times it is because some customer feels they have to tell us how to do our job that we do almost every day. Don't worry we know NOT to smash your eggs under heavy items and your bread too! Yes we know not to put hot items with cold ones! And YES it is rude when you come through our line talking on your your cell phone! And NO not everyone does it. Those are the main things that irritate cashiers is people telling us how to do our job. It is fine if you notice us doing something you don't appreciate and you let us know you would like it done differently but don't do it off the back please. We probably don't come to your work and have a conversation on our cell in your office or tell you how to do your job. So please don't tell us how to do ours. Market of Choice is a great store with appropriate prices. You get what you pay for and if you don't like you can always bring it back. If you expect to get something of excellent value with a low price your dreaming. And yes Market of Choice has some really great deals. When was the last time Winco had a dozen eggs for a dollar fifty? Market of Choice had that less than a month ago. Market of Choice is devoted to customer satisfaction and giving back to both the community and the enviroment! Our plastic bags are not really plastic they are corn starch which means they are Entirely degradeable! And our scrap food is given to a community compost for local gardens and farmers. So if you enjoy being asked how your day is and having that question be sincere. And if you enjoy knowing your food is being properly taken care of before you buy it. And if you appreciate knowing you are supporting a great local company that enjoys helping you and your company than Market of Choice is for you. Wow I need a raise for that! haha

Everything you can think of plus the most beautiful fruits and veggies. You look at the produce and think it's wax, it's so pretty. They have gourmet everything here. A Little spendy, but worth it.

I've known many people who have worked for Market of Choice and they do not treat their employees well. The ex employees said they would never recommend Market of Choice to work at. Even by visiting the store you see that the employees of Market of Choice are unhappy and uptight and there seems to be always a lot of new people working. A lot of their stuff is expensive, sometimes they've got good deals going on with coupons and weekly sales. But how Market of Choice treats their employees, I wouldn't recommend giving money to a company like that. Not to mention the Umpqua bank thing. Market of Choice could be a great market if it weren't for how bad of a reputation they have with ex emplyees.

The best parts about Market of Choice are: it is down the street from me and it is also open until 11.

Overall it is a pretty good health food store with good produce and healthy veggie items.

The worst part is the prices, though the last time I went, it seemed a bit more reasonable than usual. I know most health food stores charge more, but Market Of Choice seems to be even higher than is usual.

They also have some convenience store items such as razors and toothbrushes.

PROS: Open late
CONS: Expensive
