The first time I was introduced to this place it was for drinks after an office party. From that evening on, Ive been hooked. Since then, I've moved up the corporate ladder, switched companies, moved across the country, and remain a loyal patron whenever I visit San Fran or Miami. For those who have not been here, it is similar to a lot of Asian fusion restaurants that have sprung up in the last fifteen years from the west coast to the east coast, but something about this place always makes me feel like my day is complete. Ambiance : dimly lit, slightly pretentious, high energy, and tolerable noise level. Food : consistently delicious. Though it is not authentic, they certainly serve some fine fusion dishes.

WOW. I really like this place. I'm surprised by some of the unhappy reviews. Anyway, I come here quite often because it is right next to Redwood Room (bar) so its the perfect venue to dine and have drinks afterwards + pass out at the Clift hotel if you've had too many drinks. I agree -- it is on the pricey side, but you are also paying for the atmosphere. Food is good too and I've never had a problem with service.

Don't be fooled by the promotions and nice decor. Asia de Cuba is gross, overpriced, and the service sucks. Trust me you will be happy you skipped it.
