I'm taking this time to write a review for Ashley Furniture store in Euclid Fountain Valley,Ca 92708 to let people know the worst shopping experience i had in Ashley Euclid St Fountain Valley. Our sale person Jessie Canas, manager David.I

Ashley Furniture store in Fountain Valley has the worst customer service, here is my story: I went to this store and ordered a king size bedroom, mattress, night stands and a dresser, total $2500, they convinced me to buy the mattress protection plan that includes a $129 mattress cover, went home and discovered my room is too small to fit a king size bed and other items, Ashley does not have queen size of that model so i went to cancel the order because they don't cancel orders over the phone, and the lady there told me that I cannot return the mattress cover which they gave me the day I placed my order, I tried to argue that the it has been only 3 days since I placed the order and the mattress cover is still brand new and box is unopened and I cannot use it in the future but she kept telling me that they cannot return it, I then tried to explain that to the manager who told me that it is their policy that once the item is picked up they do not return, period. I called American Express to cancel the payment and they opened an investigation, now I am waiting for AMEX decision, I will never buy from this store anymore,I rather spend my money at a store with decent customer server.

Buyers be aware of any promotional deal they offer you.

I purchased my furniture last year in September when they had the Labor Day 1-year no interest deal. The salesman explained all the good stuff but somehow 'forgot' to mention that the bank would charge back all the finance charges incurred in the first year if payment weren't received in full by the end of first year.

Long story short, I was just one month away from paying it off, but got ding for a huge finance charge bill. Now, I had to pay a few hundreds dollars more just because of no one took the liberty and time to explain to me how the promotional worked at the time of purchase.

I called the store but wasn't able to get any help. They even told me that it's because I didn't read the contract carefully, so it's basically my fault.

Anyways, what I can do? I just want to make sure people aware of this so you won't end up like I did. Be sure to ask prior to taking up any deals/promotions.

We recently purchased a living room set from here and they were definately the cheapest by far and the quality is SUPER. We saved alot of money and the staff was friendly and not pushy. We Love our Living Room Set! We choose to do their financing option and it was a killer deal of no intrest until 2009 which I know will be paid off by then. It made me want to go back which we will when we go purchase our dining room set.
