Always awesome. They do a great job on cats, which is hard enough. My cats love their lion cuts. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Thank you!

I brought my cat Ru in today for a much needed haircut. Meowser was fantastic about fitting us in and Ru looks adorable! When I came to pick him up, they also made sure that I knew about a peculiar nail situation, and gave me suggestions

I took our Shitzu in for a very needed grooming. Other places we have taken her too when she is in such a sad state of affairs just shave her completely and when we would get her back she looked nothing like a Shitzu let alone the same dog

First, it was hard to find a place that caters to cats without terrifying them - a place that has a name like Barksalot didn't seem cat friendly. Second, My Persian is a sweet cat but gets cranky very quickly while getting a bath or groomed. He growls in a very menacing way - it's a bluff though. He squirms all over and by the time I finish with him, I'm soaked and covered with fur. He also has a very oily coat and I have to use special cleaning solutions on him. Angela is very concerned with making him look good and is sweet with him. In the Spring we'll go for the Lion cut again. He loves it. Plus, I get to play with all of their rescue cats.

Pros: Best place to take cats

Cons: None - they're great!

Good little grooming business in Central SLC. I've been taking my own pets and those of my family there for a few years and I'm pretty satisfied with the service/prices/location, etc. I've never compared prices anywhere else so I can't speak to the competitiveness but the prices seem reasonable enough and for me, it's more about the care than the cost. Best to call ahead and schedule an appointment - maybe that's obvious? - but they seem to manage their clientele very well so I generally drop off in the morning and pick about after noon.

Pros: Great Service, Nice Groomers

I just went to Meowsers for the first time with 2 rescue small dogs that I've only had for a couple of months. One of them is very challenging to work with, probably due to past traumas.

I am totally thrilled with the experience! The owners are calm, kind, and patient with the animals (which is my top priority), the place is spotlessly clean, and my dogs look great.

I can't recommend them highly enough!

As the owner of Meowser Pet Salon, I would like to respond to the review regarding the Make A Wish gift certificate. All businesses place restrictions on gift certificates. Our restrictions include that our gift certificates are for one cat or dog and up to a $50 value. We have always honored our gift certificates and have never encountered a problem like this. We would have been happy to honor this gift certificate for the one dog specified. In addition, we also donated several other items to complete a gift basket, therefore no one left empty handed. We work on a regular basis with local animal rescue charities and have donated to the Utah Firefighters Association, United Way, and Shop with a Cop. It is very hurtful to us to hear someone slander our business when we work so hard to give to charity and we take great pride in our business and our business ethic. All pets that come into our business are treated like our own. I am very sad that this potential client chose not to use the gift certificate within our specifications, I think she would have been happy. In closing, I would also like to mention that no one was ever quoted for a great dane, therefore, if you believe in karmic justice please refrain from lying when you review a hardworking and legitimate business.

I purchased a dog package at a Make-A-Wish Foundation auction a few months ago and included in the package was a $50 gift certificate to Meowser. I called in to schedule a grooming session for my two miniature pinschers (quoted at roughly $28-ish each) and was told that I could only use the G.C. towards one grooming. Puzzled, I asked if I was going to get money back to use for another grooming, she said no. My sister has a great dane, so I asked the woman (who is the owner of the salon) if they groomed great danes, and she said yes and it would be about $40. So, I gave the G.C. to my sister who called this morning and spoke with the same woman to schedule her dog for a cleaning. The woman told her that they have a 75 lb. weight limit and that she couldn't have her great dane cleaned because the dog weighs 100 lbs. I'm not sure how long she has been in this business, but I really don't know of any great danes that weigh less than 75 lbs unless they are puppies. The woman got very snippy with my sister when she started to ask why she wouldn't allow me (my sister told her that she got the G.C. from me because I couldn't use it) to use it towards my two dogs, and the conversation didn't end well. I called the woman back shortly after and asked what the deal was because there were NO stipulations detailed on the gift certificate, and she told me that the gift certificate was cancelled and that she would no long honor it. She then said that she no longer wanted to talk to me and hung up the phone. I am floored at this woman's ignorance and rudeness and I will NEVER use this salon, and I will continue to tell everyone about my experience and suggest they avoid this salon at all possible costs. Additionally, it seems to me that this woman is trying her hardest to avoid honoring this gift certificate, which was donated to MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION...I hope karma bites her in the @$$!!

Pros: Don't know...didn't have a chance to find out!

Cons: Owner is a beast, very snippy, and downright RUDE.
